@cornishbrenz Excellent material. How about including attendance data. Are game by game lineups by club available anywhere?

It's now been a month since I first posted eihl.brenz.co.uk, now over 1000 people have used the site and some great suggestions and feedback! I wonder if any teams are using the stats

@oceansofclass @EIHLFanForge I pushed some updates to the Team and Player pages last night, let me know what you think. The Goalie pages still need some more work to split everything by season properly

@EIHLFanForge @cornishbrenz I tried this the other day too actually but couldn’t find any quick or easy way to get numbers for the shots on target in the zones without filtering for that on the EIHL website which flubbed my point a little bit

@oceansofclass You can find some shot data at a team level on eihl.brenz.co.uk/team/sheffield… but I can definitely expand the player pages with more in-season data on shots

@cornishbrenz Big fan of the amount of stuff you've got in there over and above what the EIHL has (and the xG model you're using) Can I make a request/suggestion? Shooting% per player and team overall shooting%'s would be a nice addition

Sometimes maths is hard. The league data is missing the OT goal for Panthers. Pushed a fix to the stats site to calculate the period breakdown from the shot data instead. Shout out to @Charlie_Block19 for spotting it

Balmas has carried this team this year. Only 1 other player close to 20 goals. Juusola\Jasper very disappointing on the goals front. Huttula sat on -1. Sit him and play Steele. We need much more than proper centres next season. Big re-build needed…..

@GarethThwaite @officialEIHL My current method is only a few minutes behind on the goal event so crowd sourced probably wouldn’t be much faster but there must be an api or something that is near real time

@cornishbrenz @officialEIHL Could you build a community goal counter, and if you l your at a game you can click that a team has scored? If its found out that an account is placing false scores, there vote isn't added into the system no more

@cornishbrenz Just checked out the site, fantastic work! I've been playing about with python and power query to pull together some basic player cards (mech eng writing code 🤫). Might give you some ideas for areas to add (I've found the player chemistry and shooting stats quite interesting)

Pushed an update to eihl.brenz.co.uk to properly split stats by League, Cup and Playoffs. Or just enable them all to merge them together 🤷‍♂️🏒
