Realistically we probably need to win both games now, but it’s still possible. Spurs can only take 4 points from their last 3 games. Hopefully Leeds can do us a favour tonight, but even if Spurs win, it still isn’t done. We keep fighting. ⚒️ 💜💙 #WHUFC #COYI #EPL #WESTHAM

Good summary. VAR should be clearing up controversies, not adding to them. We do not want VAR re-refereeing the game. There will always be debate, that’s football. A pause for 5 minutes while looking at a screen to come to a decision that is still debated is killing the game #VAR

🤦‍♂️ Gabby: "Strange decision... Arsenal have scored so many goals from exactly that!" 😤 Jeff: "It's a foul, but Trossard has both arms around Pablo! Rice has both arms around Mavropanos!" Stelling and Agbonlahor react to #WHUFC v #AFC VAR controversy! 😳

@talkSPORT Sums it up well. VAR was brought in to clear up these controversies but it has only made it worse. There has to be a time limit put on these decisions. When it takes 5 minutes it is not clear and obvious. It is re-refereeing which nobody wants.

@BBCMOTD You have demonstrated the exact problem with VAR…slow motion and still images lose the wider context of the play. It all needs reviewing in context. Spending 5 minutes on a decision is not a clear and obvious error, it is re-refereeing of the game which VAR was never meant to do

Wow 😳 Pure chaos in the box. Was the right decision reached? Should West Ham's goal have stood? Get involved on the BBC Sport app and website: bbc.in/4wn7vEq

@talkSPORT there are 100 replays in slow-mo and stills. Why not review the play AT FULL SPEED 2 or 3 times from different angles, and if it is not clear at that point then stick with the on field decision. If it needs 5 minutes it is not clear and obvious. It shouldn’t re-referee the game.

West Ham were denied a last-minute equaliser against Arsenal after a VAR review deemed there to be a foul on David Raya. ❌🤯 The right decision? 👀

@talkSPORT We can all look at a freeze frame and say yes his arm is across so thats a foul. Still images lose context of how that has happened! This is the problem with VAR. It focuses so much on one moment the play as a whole is lost, which is so wrong. Context is everything, I hate that…

@talkSPORT It’s a question of consistency. I believe it is a foul, but similar situations have not been given as fouls all season, that is the frustration. There’s also 2 or 3 fouls by Arsenal players. VAR shouldn’t only focus on one aspect.

In this day and age I do think it’s a foul on Raya, HOWEVER you cannot look at that in isolation. If that is a foul then there are 2 or 3 others fouls by Arsenal as well. You cannot only decide to review one aspect. I don’t like replays being watched 100 times either…(1/2)

That’s likely Forest uncatchable for us now then due to GD. I still think Spurs may only pick up 4 more points. 2 wins from 3 keeps us up for me. If not, it’ll be another season going down on the historic 42 points…which would feel very West Ham wouldn’t it? ⚒️ #whu #coyi #irons

@TheGroveWHU Glad it’s not all doom and gloom on here today! Been saying this myself, 2 wins from 3 keeps us up. I think both Forest and Spurs could end the season on 41. There’s 3 to go and all to play for. Keep the faith people!! ⚒️

@COYI_WHU1 It’s normal to feel disheartened and it’s looking less likely after last night. But it is far from over. 2 wins from 3 will keep us up. Keep the faith. COYI ⚒️💜💙

@westhamfan86 Absolutely. It’s not out of the realms of possibility that both Forest and Spurs end the season on 41 points. So 2 wins from 3 keeps us up, in all likelihood. It’s not easy, and it probably won’t happen. But I will keep believing until the end. COYI ⚒️💜💙

It ain’t over till it’s over. I’m not saying we staying up, because I know the odds are heavily against us, but did you think after we lost against Forest that we would still be in this fight with 3 games to go? No. But we are. 3 games, 9 points to play for. 1 point in it. Anything can happen. We prob will go down, but there is nothing wrong in believing that we can still pull this off. What’s going to be the difference between believing it’s possible to not believing if my belief amounts to nothing? Nothing, will still feel like shit, will still be devastated. But at least I’ll know that I didn’t give up on the team that has given me hope, because 5 months ago I had none. Still been 22 points in 14 games. 🤷‍♂️ Next up is Arsenal and we can beat them. Did it twice in last two years. Not saying we going too, probably won’t. But it doesn’t mean we can’t. And Spurs still have only 2 home wins all season btw too. It ain’t over till it’s over. COYI ⚒️

@WHUFC_News Still a great chance of staying up if we can get to 42. I can see Spurs and Forest both ending the season on 41. It’s not over yet, keep the faith ⚒️

That Spurs result has made things difficult… Feels like the best hope now is for Forest to take no more than 2 points from their last 4 - not impossible, but a stretch. Then it’s on us to beat Newcastle & Leeds. Anything from Arsenal is a bonus. Still alive. ⚒️ #WHUFC #COYI
