@Pablo_MartinDX Well clearly THEY prioritized the update theme so much they decided to delay fleetway and rush Tripwire out despite her having an unoptimized moveset, unfinished animations, and 6 days of testing at best compared to fleetway who was further along.

@corpsesense See thats the issue, you think she deserves being prioritize over a made up update theme for no reason, its a passion game and the devs where just more interested in working on a different killer at the time, thats all, its not like she was being left behind entirely

people who blame her for the fall of OM are delusional, and should know better than to ignore the fact that her development was rushed. The original higher-ups set an unfair deadline before she was even allowed to be tested, and she has been reeling from those issues ever since.

@Pablo_MartinDX They still made progress on tripwire with her placeholder model, so it’s not she had nothing while they were waiting. And regardless of if fleetway was further along, she should’ve been the priority when her model was finished considering her importance to the updates branding

@Fredrick_slaper That’s essentially what happened. Work on fleetway started because it was during free time while waiting for tripwires model, but because of allll the hype the team decided to work on him fully and essentially cannibalize the development time that shouldve gone to tripwire.

@corpsesense @corvencarrion So fleetway came in and became the Dev/Community favorite and Tripwire was kicked to the curb. plus a release date while she wasn't fully finished

If they were so dedicated to keeping “the disaster update” real, they should’ve actually worked on her

@corvencarrion kinda was. Kolossos was finished, Fleetway was nearly done and then there was Tripwire with nearly nothing. Best choice if anyone NEEDED to be pushed back was to delay Tripwire so there's enough time to work on her. it was a domino effect that started there (outside pov ofc)

@silly_sophiana The ramifications of the team using what was essentially a mock up moveset for tripwire without properly testing how it flowed together until 1 week before launch because they prioritized chudway is still being felt to this day.

sad thing abt edens is that there is no brainwashing plot, no simulation plot. these are random miserable people that didnt even get to have a chance to make good memories together
