As the dust settles on a fantastic evening for schools football, we’d like to say a massive thanks to all the players / teachers / volunteers / officials / staff at @pnefc and @pnecommunity and Parents who have made the event so successful.

Congratulations to our year 7 girls on winning The Melissa Smith Shield, 2-1 against a very good OLCHS team. Progressing through the cup games only conceding 1 goal which came in the final 🏆⚽️

Congratulations to the U12’s girls football team who are through to the semi-final of the Preston cup. So proud of how well the girls played against Ashton to get into the semi’s. Next up, Archbishop Temple ⚽️

A huge well done to the U12 boys who were victorious in their first ever basketball game against a good Archbishop Temple side. Both teams got off to a slow start but the Corpus boys came away with a 16-8 win. Well done boys 🏀

Well done to the year 9 and the camera shy year 10 netball team who took on Ashton after school today. We came away with 1 of 2 wins tonight so well done to all the girls involved. Player of the match went to Kiyah and Manon

Congratulation to the under 14’s girls football team, winning their opening games again Moor Park & Fulwood in some cold and wet conditions. WOTM going to Millie Orton for the game against Moor Park. WOTM going to Macy Singleton-Martin & Alivia Brown against Fulwood ⚽️⚽️

A great win tonight for the year 10 football team as they took on St Cecilias. After going one nil down, Corpus fought back hard and eventually ran out 6-1 winners on the evening. Goals from Josh Muir x3, Mohammed Patel x2 and Owen Davis 💯👍🏼 MOTM = Josh Muir ⚽️

An emotional day yesterday. After 16 years, being head of year, head of PE, a student and head boy at Corpus Christi Catholic High School we said goodbye to Mr Horn. Mr Horn has been an incredible friend and mentor to so many pupils and colleagues and we wish him all the best!👍🏼

Year 9 beat Ashton and Eden boys tonight at cricket. These boys are a pleasure to be around.

A good turn out for year 7 and 8 tennis tonight, starting to improve a bit now. 🎾☀️🧢
