Can a man marry a girl at 17, and her mother & brothers would not be in support of it?
Is it not on record that, her father was against the marriage at the beginning?
No matter what anyone says, there are consequences for being greedy & covetous.
And by the way, it may not be 17.
It may be 18.
But she said 17, so as to paint him as a predator or pedophile.
Did they not first deny that it was a lie that she isn't on drugs?
And instead of fighting her own battle and her family, trying to douse the issues, she's now Stylishly dragging his other wives into her mess.
Wanting to label them druggies (true or not), because they have decided to stay silent and mind their business.
When a woman has been fully possessed by the devil, she will not only destroy herself, she'll destroy everyone and everything around her.
Most importantly, she'll be seeking public sympathy, and manipulate the public to hate the man she's trying to bring down.
By the time she her family realise the damage they have done to her children, it will be too late.
Let me remind you men again.
Leave poor people alone, and let poor people marry themselves.
Your money will not buy you peace, respect and it can never keep a woman that doesn't want to be kept.
Greed is the bane.
End.

Okay guys, the party is over. Let’s talk about what this really is.
A man married a 17-year-old child, and we’re laughing like it’s nothing! Every day we talk about child marriage, but we’re laughing at this one because “when she was enjoying, did she call me?” or “she laughed at us when we cried for help.” The deed has already been done, so can we just stop? This is not okay!
A man close to 60 married a 17-year-old child. She was a CHILDDDDD. Everyone around her failed her, her mother, her brothers, everyone. Those saying “she’s there for the money,” let’s stop. At 17, you cannot make life altering decisions like marriage. She had no business being in that situation.
To the mother who allowed this: you failed her.
To the brothers: shame on you all.
To the elders in her family who allowed this: big shame.
To Nigeria’s authorities: Y’all never cease to amaze me. The corruption, the abuse of power, the random detentions! This is not right.
And to the husband: Sir, yes, you’re powerful. Yes, your ego has been bruised. But what satisfaction do you get from threatening to jail your mother-in-law or using your wife’s brother’s arrest as leverage? You married a teenager and now act surprised at the outcome. All these drug allegations are excuses. Let her go. Marriage is not by force.
This child could be your granddaughter! You’re a senator nearing seventy, where is your sense of decency? “She’s a druggie, she’s this, she’s that”, Enough! Stop the excuses. Don’t deflect. She said she’s not interested in the marriage anymore. Let her go! Marriage is not a prison, and you’re not her father. She has one. You’re approaching 70! She could be your granddaughter. She could be your daughter! Sir, where is your dignity?
You’re a sitting senator! You’re supposed to be building Nigeria, not destroying it. Is this the Nigeria you promised?
To everyone celebrating this: you’re endorsing predatory behavior and abuse of power. You’re quick to judge her “mistakes” but defend his exploitation. If she were your daughter, sister, or niece, would you still be cheering?
We say we want Nigeria to be great, but when justice calls, we look away. Let’s do better please.

There is a man who needs our help.
He’s a farmer who got attacked by armed terrorist herdsmen that wanted to kill him and take over his farm. In self defence, he killed one of them.
He (not the terrorists) got arrested, jailed and has been sentenced to death by hanging in Nigeria.
His name is Sunday Jackson.
Please lend your voice. You may not have money or power or connection. But you have a voice.
Help #FreeSundayJackson
Let the world hear of this evil injustice.

2002, I was in Air force primary school Mando Kaduna, teachers were panicking there was fear in the air. School closed but they didn't let any students leave. Me & my sister sat there confused & scared. Not long after my dad came with a truck of soldiers to pick us. Outside we saw deqd bodies and burnt churches all over.
Me: Dad what is going on?
Dad: Muslims are killing Christians because of a news article written about Miss World in Lagos.
Me: But we are not in Lagos, what kind of news article will make you want to klll people, I am confused.
Well till date I am still confused as to how a journalist in This Day Newspaper Lagos will write an article about Miss World and you get angry and start kllling your neighbors miles away.
I saw things a little child was not supposed to see that day bro, one of the deqd bodies i saw was of our pregnant neighbor, from what I was told later they had forced her to drink fuel and set her ablaze.
The Anglican church near my house was burnt to nothingness as well, they did rebuild however and made the new roof a sort of cement slab so if it ever gets burnt again they won't need to do too much just repaint. Fast forward to 2006 and Dejavu. I was not in Saint Patrick's secondary school Kawo Kaduna, same thing, panic in a school, kllings outside,
Me: Dad what happened this time?
Dad: Someone in Denmark drew a cartoon of prophet Muhammad so the Muslims got a angry about it and are killing Christians.
Me: DENMARK? 😭
Denmark o, how is that our business???
The Anglican church near my house did get burnt down again, the roof slab thing ended up being a good idea as they did not have to spend too much money making a new roof.
Dad later told us how he passed through the angry mob to get to the barracks to carry soldiers to pick us, he was fluent in Hausa and had read the Quran, he was asked questions and answered them superbly pretending to be a Muslim, he was a brave man, love you forever and may your soul rest in peace.

The latest threat by U.S. President Donald Trump @POTUS to launch military action in Nigeria, allegedly to protect Christians, may sound appealing to some. Still, history has shown this to be perilous.
Whether you are Christian, Muslim, animist, or non-religious, no one should celebrate such rhetoric. The United States and its allies have a long record of military interventions that leave nations more unstable than before. They failed to secure peace in Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, or Syria, and they won’t bring salvation to Nigeria through bombs or boots on the ground.
What Nigeria truly needs is not a foreign savior, but legitimate, accountable leadership, one that protects all citizens, upholds justice, and ends the cycles of corruption and violence that have left the nation broken.
@realDonaldTrump does not care about Nigerians not Christians, Muslims, or anyone else. Our deliverance will never come from abroad; it must come from within, through real leadership (not the Tinubus of this world) and national renewal. #RevolutionNow
