@PaxyPop If you tell them one thing and they completely ignore your design that they have in mind then I wouldn’t work with them personally.
You are not wrong for what you did. Some artist just think they can do it better and ignore you ideas.

So I'm working with this artist on VGen for my rebrand, right? I send them a few references with my request to see what they think. They THEN sent me a sketch with the proposal. (I didn't ask for it.)
I messaged multiple artists to throw a wider net on artists to work with for the rebrand, and ended up going a different route. I communicated this, and they told me that work already started "because of my initial request and time invested." Yet I never asked for a sketch?
I then was told that they'd never accept a request from me again. I clarified that I never accepted a proposal and the sketch was a choice on their end, not mine. I then got blocked.
