On this Easter Sunday, I want to share a story that…made me believe. Back in 2016, I was going through a really dark time - feeling lost and alone. I needed something. I started asking, “Is God even real?” But I didn’t want to be sold on God (many had tried up to this point). I wanted to know for myself. So I opened the Bible, not to confirm anything necessarily, but to see what I could debunk. Because if God was real… not finding out for myself at this point, felt like the biggest blunder ever. One day while playing a couple of MTTs & Hearthstone I came across this verse: “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” So I decided to drop the cynicism. I opened my heart. I prayed real hard for God to reveal Himself. Not long after feeling like I finally let my wall down, a new Hearthstone opponent joined my game. Their username? “HI JOHN” I froze. Tears welled up. It felt direct. Personal. Like a message straight from God. I was like no friggin way… And then… the player quit before the match even started. Like that was the only reason they were there. To send a message. I thought about that moment again today and I’m reminded: We are not alone. There is something greater. If you’re feeling lost… there’s hope. There’s love waiting for you. Happy Easter, to everyone, not only those who celebrate. I know this world will get the best of me at times, but I hope in the end I allow for love to book the most wins, and I hope to be a positive influence and energy while Im here.♥️
