What's catching your eye... ~Stress or Serenity? ~Cloudiness or Clarity? ~Fear or Faith? When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

A supernatural force stopped my car brakes Yesterday I was reversing my car out of a parking space. There was a large SUV to my right, blocking my sight. As I reversed, the brake hit hard on my car, taking me by surprise. My foot had been resting lightly on the brake, I hadn't moved my foot. Something invisible had intervened. The moment the supernatural intervention happened, I saw why. An electric scooter wizzed past the back of my car. Had the brake not been activated, I could have killed the person. Yes, my car has a system where it automatically brakes if I'm about to bump into something. But this only happens after a beep-warning and the braking is more gentle. The sensor does not activate on objects that quickly and suddenly appear from the left or right. It was abrupt, hard and without warning, as if some invisible foot had stepped in. And the same thing happened to me in the 1990s, long before automatic brakes on normal cars. In summary: Something "up there" was strictly opposed to this person having an accident and me causing it and temporarily suspended my free-will on our behalf. For that, I am grateful.

You create your own reality not through manipulating events but through controlling your experience of reality. You control your thoughts and emotions by giving meaning to your beliefs. One shift there, and you might find gratitude for the "bad" things. You might realize that life happens for you, not to you.

I went off twitter deep diving into test kitchen/recipe finalizing for the Eating Wise For Healthy Eyes recipe book. I’ve since been convinced to do my “building in public”, so from here on out I’ll make efforts to share more of my “building.” Happy Friday :)

This is how you kick the weekend off friends. It's called Mediterranean Citrus Spritzer, and you're gonna love it. The me from 10 years ago would add some St. Germaine into the mix, but these days I'm groovin' w/ the mocktail, with a splash of greenery for added lutein. Catch a vibe:

It's time for an eye break. Near-Far Eye Accommodation: ~Focus on nearby object & quickly switch focus to a distant one This strengthens the eye muscles responsible for changing focus, reducing eye strain & fatigue from close-up work. You can do this at the office too.

@yorudan This is amazing on so many levels. So many of us forget what it feels like for our bare feet to touch the earth, and for our body to be out in wide-open space with nature. Interesting science+spirituality behind grounding studies too. Thank you for sharing.

Our technology rarely replicates nature. This screen outputs red green and blue light. Monitors are missing the full spectrum of light found in nature. Until tech replicates nature, time outdoors each day can offset heavy screen use. Don't believe me, experiment for yourself.
