I am a believer that although you invest in a widget making co you are actually investing in the people .. the Avacta crew are repeatedly proving themselves- yes they can bring it home.

They simply do not have the resources and size to do so other than in a small piecemeal way. That is why, in the absence of partners/license deals, the market refuses to rerate the stock imo.

The ‘realisation’ that it can and the share price are directly proportional.

@Share_Talk @ZaksTradersCafe Sadly the small, limited minded approach of those not invested has held back the share price I include those who talk down the company and short the shares…it’s a malfunctioning market.

Despite recent relatively positive news from the company, including at the board level, shares of #AVCT still appear to be struggling at the lower levels. More results like today’s would appear to be in order to change market sentiment. @ZaksTradersCafe

@detector_trader One must ask the question - what is it that will prompt people to buy shares…the answer/solution is ‘secret’ at the moment.

#avct absolutely fantastic - it’s also been said often on here that scientific news alone doesn’t move the share price. Today is the acid test - on this news alone the share price should go stratospheric - imagine delivering t hat sort of news to the market 😩

What sales could @avacta be looking at? Trodelvy is approx $15K-$20K per cycle. 8 cycles p/y = $120K-$160K per patient . #AVCT is looking at 1 million patients a year from just 6000 & 6103. + 1 further drug per year. + Licensing preCISION for other warheads…

#AVCT Many thanks everyone wrt your comments. I've been doing a little bit of digging myself today & it appears GSK's new approved ADC is a great way to get more of the chemo drug into cancer cells. However the 2 major problems with ADCs is their high cost and that some of the 'chemo warhead' wrongly falls off their antibody linkers, which causes patient toxicity. @avacta's preCISION technology on the other hand is a peptide drug conjugate (PDC). Where the big improvement is that the peptide not only more accurately targets FAP (ie on the cancer cells), but also FAP is the enzyme that releases the chemo. Basically meaning that @avacta's preCISION platform is a next generation ADC with (theoretically) a far superior targeting/release mechanism. Hence even if the regulators/FDA ultimately decided to use ADCs as the standard of care comparator before approving AVA6000. Then the safety/efficacy profile of the preCISION platform should be much better. Apologies if my earlier post unnerved anyone.

@Mike182035 …and lack of funding, cash burn and low income have caused anxious stockholders to wonder whether the weak balance sheet will presage the end of the journey, notwithstanding the science! Ho hum!

Nothing new here. And that's the problem. Investors have experienced a -30% drop since 1st May 2024. -33% since the start of the year. The NASDAQ Biotechnology Index has reduced by just -3% since 1st January 2025. Words are no longer enough. We need action. @avacta #AVCT
