Last night, the men of Lakurawa made two attempts to reach my location. The first was immediately after Maghrib, and the last was around a few minutes past midnight. What happened around a few minutes past 2 a.m lasted for almost 45 minutes before they withdrew. At first light, we saw them. He had pulled himself away from the fight, inch by inch, bleéding into the dirt…but he didn’t make it far enough. With time, I've studied the fighting patterns of these teřrorist groups. From IŞWAP to Bòko Haŕam, to Lakůrawa and co, these guys do not have identical operational features that can easily make me identify which just by the first 2 minutes of attáck. Recently, I've decided to open my heart to learn how terroʻrists think. How would a person agree to strap himself with a bòmb vest, go into a crowded place, and detónate with the intention of dying with the crowd? It doesn't make sense to you, but that's the psychology of terrorism. They hold beliefs that are alien to those of a normal human, and in my opinion, they don't deserve a space on earth. Three teenagers were trying to gain unrestricted access into the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital, but were denied access into the premises. It is getting closer no doubt

I met a friend at his “lowest lowest lowest” here in Portugal. He was in a deep financial crisis. Efcc was on his case from Nigeria. Money he was earning over here, he was literally sending almost all to Nigeria asides his house rent. Spending money to repay debts plus employing lawyers. It was hard for him to open up to me but he finally did. I’ve been in a funny case like this in the past. when I was foolish and was encouraging people to invest their money in “drop a principal amount and get 15% profit every month”. One day, my investments plus investment of others disappeared. At a point, I couldn’t tell anyone. I just kept looking for where I could get money to send to investors. I was drowning. Some of my “friends” that invested money with me had to involve the police. Some, soldiers. That’s when I started the fire brigade approach with God. With Jesus. You know when you just need the Mercy of God to come through. I just kept asking for God’s mercy. Went on fasting. Went to redemption camp. 😂😂. People could say I was greedy. I agree. Lesson learnt. But I needed a solution. Things were about to go south. Then, one day, I was to report to one of the barracks to settle the matter. An Army captain that I was reported to had called me and summoned me. I had two choices. To go or to run away from where i was staying. In that moment, I made that genuine prayer to God. “If you truly exist, have mercy on me and water down this case”. This spirit of boldness just came upon me. I made my decision and went to the barracks. 😂 They told me to sit on the floor and started questioning me. I told them the matter is a civil case and it’s not within their jurisdiction. 😆. Then there was a voice note I had sent to the complainant a day before, saying, “The worst the soldiers can do is to kill me and they will be in trouble”. My friend went ahead to play the voice note for them. Thinking it will infuriate them to beat me or sth. 😂😂 As they heard that, they asked me to write a statement of when I can pay back. I wrote it. In like 6 months. I signed it and they let me go. 😆😆😆 No more pressure whatsoever. Just like that. Thinking about it now, it could seem like God wasn’t involved. Maybe the case took its natural cause. But in that moment, I understood what the “peace that passes all understanding” meant. So, when my friend opened up to me. His case was far worse. More money involved. More pressure. I told him clearly: I’ve been here before. It might not be the same magnitude, but when you are at the end of the road and you’ve run out of options. And you honestly don’t have where to go. And the pressure is drowning your soul, run to God. I encouraged him to go to a nearby church to worship. Pray genuinely and talk to the pastor. Basically, just to awaken his faith. I clearly told him: God can make everything just disappear. If you believe and trust Him. This was in December 2025. I called him last week to check up on him. The case had disappeared. Not overnight. But the pressure, the uncertainty all disappeared. He wasn’t even sending money to Nigeria again. Like I always say; if this message is for one person here, I am fulfilled. Take that issue genuinely to God NOW! 💙

I’ve finally managed to get in touch with my family in Iran after a long time of trying to reach them. 😔 The situation is truly horrific. The regime has gone completely mad and is operating without any rules against the population. Explosions from large bombs are going off all the time. At the same time, they claim that civilians are barely affected because it’s military targets that are being hit. Most people are staying indoors almost all day long. Now during Nowruz, many are off work, so they can stay home. The psychological pressure is enormous. The regime constantly threatens via TV, and at night they drive around with loudspeakers on the streets scaring people. They threaten parents that they’ll kill their children no matter the age if they come out to protest, and they shoot live rounds at houses and apartments if anyone shouts slogans. The worst thing according to them, though, is hearing that the US and Israel might start negotiating with the regime and stop the bombing. They say that if the regime survives, it’ll get even worse—like North Korea times ten. They ended the call with a sob in their throat: “Please, don’t stop bombing them, we can’t live under them anymore. Please.” And hearing my loved ones beg like this is the worst thing I’ve ever experienced in my life. 🥺
