In portraits OPPO Find X9 Ultra is better than Vivo X300 Ultra in my opinion if we take in default setup 👀 For getting best out of Vivo X300 Ultra in human photos or portraits we have to do many settings with paremeters which I am currently testing. Vivo has many options in camera application. I will say soon. Here is an example of night portraits with both the smartphone. Vivo X300 Ultra is at optical focal length and OPPO Find X9 Ultra is at 85 mm sensor crop from 3X optical.

I guess Vivo knew they will edge the stills game and focused on delivering the best video experience in the android world. Having a 10x optical wont give Oppo the crown, Vivo its still more consistent.
