“It’s important to understand the concept of repair in relationship – which is any attempt you make to de-escalate the situation when there is conflict. You need to repair when you are both calm; it can’t be when the four horsemen [from John Gottman] are present – criticism, contempt, defensiveness, stonewalling.
We need to be in a place of presence to repair, and this means listening to the other person until they feel understood.
That's the key point of repair: when the other person feels understood and heard, their nervous system relaxes.
This means being vulnerable and apologizing for your part in the conflict. If both partners can be vulnerable and apologize for their part, they can listen to the other person until they feel understood.
Once you establish that, this can be a co-regulative and healing relationship, which is where real intimacy comes in.
With this kind of relationship, you can open yourself vulnerably, speak to this person, and feel heard, and immediately, that is intimacy building.”

“We have gone deeper into materialism, deeper into narcissism, and more into war and violence. There are more divisions and hatred now than there were 200 years ago. Even in the last 50 years, the condition of our society has degraded drastically into more hatred, violence, and greed.
Greed is now the main factor driving the lives of most people, and when you fall prey to greed, you are willing to do away with most moral principles because you want to get what you want.
From that standpoint, it never made any sense to me when somebody says that we are in the ascending Dwapara Yuga, because consciousness has been declining rapidly over the last 200 years.
Besides, if you consult texts like the Mahabharata, which tells you the kind of society that existed in the previous Dwapara Yuga, you would see that people were virtuous, society was elevated, and people had many powers that could manifest.
There were avatars like Krishna and Balarama, and I’m sure there were similar avatars in other cultures as well. Very high-souled people who were guiding humanity. They were sages who provided knowledge, wisdom, and guiding principles. We don’t have that today.
We don’t have that guidance, and we don’t have those powers. We don’t have that virtue in our society, and our society today looks nothing at all like the society of the previous Dwapara Yuga, so it never made sense to me.
I knew there was something wrong with Sri Yukteswar’s framework, and that motivated me to find out what was actually going on.”

“In evolutionary astrology, Jeffrey Wolf Green, who was the creator of this form of astrology, stated that 70% of the population live in a CONSENSUS state, which is like a herd mentality. These are what some may call the “NPCs” of the world. They do not form their own independent thoughts.
When they want to know what their opinions are on certain topics, they look to the external world to tell them what to think. These are the kinds of people who tend to get the most offended when you present them with certain views outside of the current mainstream paradigm, mainly because their beliefs represent unconscious security needs.
They (unconsciously) gain security in trusting the mainstream media, celebrities, the “experts”, and the government. They don’t think for themselves, so they seek security in outsourcing their opinions to the outer world.
Moving from this consensus mentality to an individuated state (the next stage of evolution) is often a traumatic process because instead of trusting the external world, you have to learn to trust Self as an inner guidance system.
And you have to decondition and undo a lot of what you thought was true about yourself and the world in the process. This process involves soul-searching, asking the question “who am I?” and questioning a lot of the beliefs and programming you have picked up from your family, culture, and the society you live in.
This is also an alienating and lonely process, by design. Carl Jung calls this the process of “individuation” and says that it must involve a confrontation with the shadow. The main thing to realize is that you can’t force people out of the consensus state.
Any movement of the soul has to come from their own inner calling. It has to come from within them finally realizing that there is something different inside of them that cannot be explained by the experts/science/celebrities/government.
It takes a certain readiness of soul to even go down this path. Most people will refuse the call of their own individuation again and again because their unconscious security needs to stay in the known of the consensus and gain security from it is so strong.
This is why trying to wake up family, friends, and others, in general, is almost always a failed project. The best thing you can do in these times is focus on your own soul evolution and find something unique about you that you can bring back to the world.”

@cosmicmatrixpod Ignoring evil, and projecting it outwards, have the same motivation : Avoiding the confrontation with one´s own potential of evil. Conscious observation will not manifest evil, same as conscious decision not to act upon the own potential.
What if ignoring evil is exactly what gives it power?
“There are two “traps”, the first one is denying evil. A lot of people do this by saying something like, “I don’t want to give it attention” and think if they do that, therefore it doesn’t exist.”
-Bernhard Guenther
“Some people don’t want to pay any attention to evil because they claim it “feeds it,” but what they don’t realize is that by avoiding it, they are avoiding a relationship with a part of themselves, and that is Wetiko.
That’s the elusiveness and how tricky it is to deal with evil. When good, kind, spiritual people with the best of intentions say, “I don’t want to focus on evil,” they are unwittingly offering themselves into evil’s hands.
Then there is externalizing and projecting it, and the whole dynamic of projecting the shadow. That’s the psychological dynamic that underlies Wetiko. Jung calls projecting the shadow the lie, and that’s the devil.”

Are you actually living your purpose, or just watching what is happening in the world from the sidelines?
“During this Time of Transition, it becomes ever more imperative to align with Dharma, your specific Dharma, rooted in Self, and to do what the Divine asks of you. This will not necessarily be what your ego thinks it wants. It will push you out of your comfort zone, force you to face what you don’t like to see within yourself and in the world, and burn you in the fire of transmutation... just as Arjuna embraced the battle with Krishna on his side.
This is a long-term transition spanning many centuries, and the most important thing you can do for yourself, your family, your community, and the world is to live in accordance with your Dharma, which is specific to YOU, and to engage in conscious inner work.
There is nothing to escape from.
Do you really know who you are and what you are here to do, or are you wasting your time on the news and social media, waiting for some sort of arrest or for someone to save the day, as if “Evil” can be just eliminated externally?
Well, look in the mirror.
Are you a consumer, a spectator, or a creator? Get off the cheap seats, get into the arena, and show up. Or are you in denial and believe things will just move along and you won’t be affected by this global shift? You are not separate from anything you perceive as the “outside” world. Your level of being and consciousness affects the world.
The more you have integrated the shadow and made the darkness conscious within yourself, the more you contribute to humanity, lift it up, and seed the energies of the next cycle.
Who you are inside, your level of consciousness, and inner alignment with the Divine Force, is what guides you through these times and, especially, in the afterlife across many incarnations.
That is what allows you to be an impactful, positive part of this transition and prepares you to be a seed for the next cycle.
Enjoy the ride.”

What are you still trying to control that was never yours to control?
“Divine grace is an act of the divine, an act of God that intervenes in our lives sometimes suddenly and sometimes less dramatically. The main thing with divine grace is that it tends to act beyond the limitations of karma or our ideas of karma.
We have to realize that we only have an idea of what our karma is and what we’ve earned and what we haven’t, and divine grace acts completely beyond that, and our mental idea of what is right and what is wrong.
We tend to also have judgments about morality that we’ve picked up from different spiritual or religious traditions. Divine grace acts beyond our own moral ideas and our human ideas of what is right or wrong, and most importantly, it acts beyond how much we think we’ve earned it.
Whether we’ve done all of the “right” things, been of service, been loving, whatever our ideas of being a good person are, it acts completely beyond that. Divine grace tends to transform us, sometimes suddenly, sometimes more gently over time. You can’t predict or manifest it.
It really just acts from God’s own vision and has a deeper purpose. And that deeper purpose is often hidden to us and our ordinary consciousness, because we’re not all-knowing like God is.
Yet the experience will often bring us towards a deeper awakening, a deeper relationship with life, with God, with ourselves, and with other people. Divine grace tends to help us heal in some way, or it helps us spiritually make progress.”

@cosmicmatrixpod Great description! I know the exact moment I started to develop my persona. Luckily in early adulthood I was fortunate to cross paths with a mystic who explained what was happening. And been on my own path ever since.
Your personality is not the real you. It is what survived your early upbringing.
“We can become disconnected from parts of our soul and essence; it’s a soul fragmentation. Think of it like a circle of light, and then certain fragments get left in the past, and then that light becomes dimmer and dimmer.
So certain experiences that we had, especially if there’s a major trauma in childhood, can cause us to leave parts of our inner child behind, which holds a direct connection to the soul.
Our inner child holds a connection to our creativity, our light, our authenticity, and our spontaneity. If you look at children before they are traumatized, they’re naturally more in tune with themselves and spontaneous.
They have a lot of light and a lot of their essence in them. And over time, especially even just growing up in a world of false Personas. When they’re surrounded by people who aren’t able to mirror back that soul essence to them, it can make them disconnect from that part of themselves.
Then they learn that in order to be liked and loved in this world, they also need to put on a mask. They need to become more like this person that their parent or society really likes.
Basically, they start to develop this Persona over time because they’re surrounded by people who are totally identified with that Persona, with their ego, and they aren’t having their essence mirrored back from them.”

What if AI doesn’t need to be conscious to capture you?
“There’s this sort of softness that humanity has where I feel like there’s a lot of naivety with [AI]. I don’t even feel like there needs to be a ghost in the machine at this point in order to capture people.
It’s about gathering as much data as possible about humanity, which is why all these things are almost free. There’s a competition for the data right now, and I think there’s a high potential that this technology could become ceremonial.
Which means attempting to incarnate something into it, to work through it later once the data is gathered. This idea of externalism, looking for spiritual guidance from outside, actually comes from an earlier epoch of man.
In the Lemurian and Atlantean epochs, human beings weren’t individuals. We worked kind of like a hive mind or a tribe, and we actually did have spiritual technology. So, you would be able to use a crystal or whatever, and this is where we get the scrying and the crystal ball.
There was the potential to actually have answers reflected to you in a mineral consciousness, like a crystal. It’s the sort of thing [Edgar] Cayce talks about with the Atlantean crystal and the Atlantean crystalline technology.
So, there was a period in our earlier past where we were able, through external means, to have spiritual communication. However, during this period of our development, we had to go inward, and this communication had to come from inside.
Now it can’t come from outside anymore. We have to grow up, and there’s a large portion of the population that has not individuated; they’re not individuals yet, and these are the individuals who are most susceptible to this because there isn’t that turning inward for information and guidance. It’s part of human evolution, but it is a recapitulation of Atlantis.”

Episode 171 – The Shadow of Enlightenment: Confronting Spiritual Narcissism
👇 To listen to this podcast, click the link in the replies.
“We are currently in an epidemic of narcissism where the whole society amplifies narcissistic tendencies. Narcissistic pathologies have become normalized.
We see it in social media validation, influencer culture, the idea of becoming a brand, and the attention economy, all of which represent rewarding an idealized false self on social media. Then, when one enters spiritual culture, awakening itself becomes something to brand, market, display, and perform rather than truly live.
At the core, a lot of spiritual searching is based on real pain and wounding, and many people seek spiritually, sincerely, as a way to heal. So, the search begins, maybe sincerely from pain and the desire for truth, or relief and integration, but this is also where the danger begins, or the temptation, so to speak.
If those emotional wounds are not consciously processed, then spirituality can become a way of escaping pain, spiritually bypassing it rather than facing it. It is here that the spiritualized ego develops and spirituality becomes a new identity for the false self, and the path of healing, which we call spiritual bypassing, spiritual narcissism rests on this.
You see this in the new age, people often identify as an “awakened starseed,” a “wanderer,” an “indigo child,” or a “reborn Christian” involved in a neo-Christian revival. This identification can carry this type of spiritual narcissism.
But the birth of spiritual narcissism is really when the wounded self attaches to a new spiritual identity; that’s a key point. That’s when we also mistake the spiritualized ego for the true self.
That is the biggest deception of all, not to be able to differentiate what is actually the false ego personality that has hijacked the process, versus the true self that is being buried and left behind.
The person then becomes identified with being awakened, a healer, chosen, a teacher, being more conscious, or having special access to truth, and then the spiritual identity becomes the new self. Instead of using spirituality for healing, spirituality is actually used to avoid it, but the person is not aware of it.”
