@blakeandersonw Awesome! I was thinking about doing something similar for myself too. Do a deep research about a topic I'm curious about, then transform it into something audible. But I'd like the output to be longer, 30 to 60 minutes.

@dvassallo Weird how these guys believe that today programming can be done only with the help of AI.

@mewwts @WHOOP Haven't checked recently, but around 6 months ago they weren't exporting steps data. I hope that's fixed now.

ok @WHOOP this is actually something that might make me churn fix your damn API

Yesterday Fitbit Air launched, but did you know it comes with a new @googlehealth API? You can build AI agents, MCP servers, or CLIs on top of your sleep and heat data. - 31 different data points from exercise to sleep, heart rate, or SpO2. - Webhooks push real-time notifications when health data changes. - Support Read or write data, request only the permissions you need. - Query by time range, roll up daily summaries, or paginate results. I am whoop guy, but might be good reason to explore this. Full getting started codelab below.👇🏻

I'm token starved today: - Claude sub done - Codex sub done - Droid sub done - Github copilot done ); IDK if I'm spending more tokens or if they're cutting usage

@robj3d3 Is the chicken cooked after only 20 minutes? At what temperature? I got a Cosori air fryer and I have to set it to ~40 minutes at 195 degrees Celsius to get it done.

As a kid, I went to sleep hoping the night would fly by so I could wake up and play video games. Today, LLMs make me feel the same way, I can't wait to build the next feature in my app.

JOULE THIEF IS COMPLETE. I thought I damaged it when I connected my power supply. I plan to hook it up to the oscilloscope, comparing it to the simulations. I’d also like to order some PCBs. Time to think about my next project

@willreil Hehe, see? That's what I meant on @yacineMTB's post. Tinkering is fun, but if you wanna get serious, you need the basics.

@cosminc @yacineMTB Learn about basic electronic components and circuits. Cant make anything without that. Make some circuits, test them. Then go into arduino

my results 3 weeks after using my nurosym vagus nerve device: it stimulates your parasympathetic nervous system by activating your vagus nerve (shifting you away from fight and flight) my results: - big impact on my recovery days (after weightlifting), reduced my fatigue by like 70% - feeling more "clear" focus wise - don't feel much difference during the day It's one of the things I've tried that has a clear noticeable difference Price tag is a bit high though, but for me it's totally worth it I'm on the side of easily overstimulated and anxious so it works like a nice counter-balance I was a bit weary at first because it feels so "unnatural" but it has way more effect for me than breathing exercise etc

@willreil @yacineMTB Already did some Arduino projects. Also played with a couple of ESP32s and RPIs, but I don't know the basics, you know? Like Ohms or Kirchhoff laws and all of that. And I feel I can't get far without a solid foundation.

Start with an arduino kit, mess around for a bit, then dream up a project and start trying to make it! Learn what you need as you go. I have that book but I’m not great at understanding theory from a textbook so I haven’t gotten far. YouTube and random research have been my go to

@yacineMTB I sure hope so😀 I'm a technical person. I've loved engineering since I was a kid, and I've been doing backend development for 15+ years, but I highly doubt that I'll be able to assimilate all the information in two weeks.

@yacineMTB How did you manage to learn electronics so quickly? Or you had previous knowledge? Any book that you recommend? I'm looking to start this as a hobby, currently waiting for my copy of Practical Electronics for Inventors - Scherz & Monk to arrive.
