Yara, the newest, is Yatta's fourth calf. She arrived in the world to a ready-made family: two big brothers, a big sister, and a mother who was once a tiny orphan herself. Yatta lost her mother to poachers in 1999, leaving her alone and in a desperate state at only a few weeks old. Some kids you never forget… and AriAndo is one of them. Six years ago in Houston, Texas, AriAndo took on our 50 Yard Challenge and not only did he complete it, he did it with a level of dedication that still sticks with me to this day. I remember him having back-to-back baseball games… most kids would’ve called it a day after that. But not AriAndo. He would finish those games, then go right out and mow lawns—serving others, putting in the work, and showing what true commitment looks like at a young age. That’s the kind of mindset you can’t teach… that’s built from within. He didn’t just complete 50 lawns, he showed consistency, discipline, and heart every step of the way. I think it’s time for an update… I’d love to see how he’s doing now. But if I had to guess, I’d say he’s still doing what he’s always done—working hard, staying focused, and excelling in life. Because when you start serving early…great things tend to follow.

These two young men didn’t just complete the 50 Yard Challenge…they gave back to their community 50 times helping the elderly, disabled, single parents, and veterans along the way. And when it was all said and done…they laid back, looked up, and finally took a breath. Because they earned it. Every kid who completes the 50 Yard Challenge knows this feeling ,that mix of exhaustion, pride, and purpose. This isn’t just about mowing lawns. It’s about building character, discipline, and a heart for others.
