On April 27, deputies responded to a call from a single mother who said she could no longer provide a safe home for her 7-year-old son.
When they arrived, she explained her power had been shut off because she couldn’t afford the bill, leaving them without heat. All their food had spoiled, and with just $5 left, she had nothing to feed her child. Despite working two jobs, she was still struggling to make ends meet.
Deputies Basile, Santo-Domingo, and Akens stepped in without hesitation. They took the mother and her son to @Walmart, buying over $300 in groceries using donated gift cards and their own money. They also helped restore power to the home. Because of their compassion, this family had food, warmth, and hope again.
Kindness matters and these deputies made a real difference when it was needed most. 💙

David Allan Coe has passed away at the age of 86.
According to multiple reports, he died around 5pm ET today (Wed, April 29) in the hospital. No official cause of death has been released at this time.

Spencer Pratt has created a phone app that will be used for accountability of public officials if he’s elected Mayor of Los Angeles
Here’s how it works
- Residents will be able to report things like piles of trash
- They can upload a video, the location is geotagged
- An email will be sent out to all the public officials for the problem
- The app will keep track of their record of addressing the problems
- A ranking system will be made showing how successful each public official is in each area
If they did fix issues they’ll have a high score, if they ignore issues they’ll have a failing score
Then voters can easily see which public officials should be voted for and who needs to be voted out
