@GatiSenpai @siegcecis also u can dislike p2 story but it's better than 90% of p1 already. better story telling and characterization and the story itself is better if u remove peak arcs (ER/kolosten/teather of domination) but even then it's very close

@GatiSenpai @siegcecis p2 didn't make p1 character irrelevant until a long time after. when most p1 chars got replaced (exactly like in p1) the difference is that there are been more DK in p2 making p1 teams back again. from HoFi to luna and even SW. also unlike p1 every p2 characters is still relevant

@GatiSenpai @siegcecis bruh those larper, p2 has less powercreep than any p1 valk,the gameplay is better with the astral astral ring, the story telling is peak compared to p1 and the story itself is great concuring most p1 chapters. u talk like HoT hasn't powercreep 99% of the valks at the time lol.

@siegcecis welt and domain of revelation on hor alongside bella and domain of sanction on hot carried me SO hard back in the day. the part 2 power creep, story and gameplay made me drop the game, but damn, seeing this set brings back so many memories.

One thing I noticed during the Wuthering Waves 2nd anniversary livestream was the overall tone of the presentation it was missing "Celebration" Compared to the 1st anniversary, it felt more reserved and structured, with less of the lighthearted and celebratory energy from the developers. The last livestream had moments were Solon being more goofy and expressive, which added a sense of personality and made it feel more engaging. That said, the current approach felt more formal and corporate in comparison. It makes me wonder what might have influenced this shift in presentation style for anniversary. Regardless of that, I still appreciate Kuro Games for their passion in developing action games. Their dedication to gameplay and the way they talk about their work has always been something I respect.

@animusmemes @AmadeusRolux you are not contradicting me, as my argument is not that it's not interesting (i'm one of the fiew ppl that has been asking for 2 story release in a patch instead of one). the fact is every chapter now is short (around 3h) so we have little progression.

@couldavidace @AmadeusRolux for the story I have to contradict, it's having a very interesting turn, especially the difeng arc, I heard that chapter 11ex is very absurd (lore etc), for the characters yes..but I'm still hopeful that this 2026, the characters of part 2 will get justice..

@animusmemes @AmadeusRolux they always did this tbh but it has been worse now probably cuz of the longer patchs. longer patchs means we have the celebrations more often so they have to fit a big character in it. we also get less story progression meaning that they don't have the time to cook enough for p2
