Roughly every 4–6 months, I start thinking I want a PROPER JOB again. Having been in this loop many, maaaaany times before, I know the immediate fix is to look at editorial job ads. Just scroll down to the mention of salary. Somewhat-directionless freedom remains a firm winner.
