I'm always here for more female-led procedural shows. Ballard S1 was excellent and I have no doubt that Maria Sten will carry her weight as the lead in Neagley. We need more TV shows led by women, not less.

People confused by this move are dumb. Every streamer right now is pushing to create more IPs and a spin-off show gives Prime Video the opportunity to do that with the Reacher Universe. Neagley has been a standout character in 3 seasons of Reacher — this was always the move.

Playing more arena shows takes a bigger toll on your body as a performer but there's not an artist alive today playing stadiums who doesn't know that arenas offer an overall better experience for fans.

I don't know why some of you think playing stadiums is the ultimate sign of success as an artist. Stadiums are massive, inconvenient spaces with shitty acoustics that most artists struggle to efficiently cover throughout a performance.

@countmagic Why isn't your fave doing an all stadium tour if his streaming numbers are so high??? Streaming is the most manipulatable metric and doesn't translate into concert tickets or money for the artist. Your fave moves people to press repeat, ours moves people to come outside.

The only people who don't like the streaming era are the people whose faves haven't enjoyed success in it. If the rapper you consider the GOAT was averaging more streams per month than every other rapper, you wouldn't have such negative things to say about the streaming era lol.

@CartuneNetwerk People still choose to listen to who/what they want to listen to at the end of the day. Nobody keeps going back to music they genuinely believe to be trash and there's always been low-quality music in every era of music — that's not something that's unique to the streaming era.

@countmagic Streaming era does not infer quality it infers quantity which is skewed by a bunch of stupid tactics. Only 30 seconds counts as stream and nowadays artists make music intentionally for virality and curiosity, not quality. So yeah they’re serving out happy meals.

People eat at McDonald's as much as they do because their food is cheap, accessible and decent enough. Listening to any artist would cost you the same amount of time/money, so who a mass number of people listen to the most does say a lot about the perceived quality of that music.

All things considered, 135k isn't bad, but I won't be surprised if the album ends up debuting with even lower numbers.

Also, (and maybe I'm alone in this, but) I've never played any Drake project this much in 2 months. I have to keep reminding myself to listen to other albums. It's honestly ridiculous how good Iceman is.

The thing about this album for me is that even on the Drake albums I consider some of his best work (Take Care, NWTS, Views, More Life, CLB, etc), there's always a couple of songs I could do without. Iceman is the first Drake album I play from front to back every single time.
