@hschhaya What settings are you going to use.?Perhaps a sample taken every five minutes. Then closer to totality, every 30 seconds

So I am going to be doing some data collection during the solar eclipse on Monday. I’m going to be measuring change in temperature, brightness, UV radiation in before, during and after the eclipse. Is there any other phenom that I should also measure?

@hschhaya I have a Vernier Anemometer - I was thinking windspeed. School was canceled, but I can set this up with my Nspire and light sensor, UVA and B sensor. I think we will have clearer skies in Indy than what I heard you’ll have in Dallas. We’ll see

James Clerk Maxwell is buried in the ruins of the old Parton Kirk next to the church where he was an elder.

At Kinross - Loch Leven Castle ruins - then a hike to “John Knox pulpit” waterfall. Covenanters had conventicles here.

@TICalculators Some of my family, my TI-Nspire and I are visiting Scotland. We’ve been to castles, an abby, and a walking tour of Edinburgh to see the birthplace of James Clerk Maxwell, best mathematical physicist in history.

@TICalculators Beach near Edinburgh, Scotland at 4:30 am sunrise. The TI-Nspire is waving Scotland’s flag, also known as St. Andrew’s Cross or Saltire. It was made by graphing y=x+2, y=x-2, y=-x+2, y=-x-2 on a -10 to 10 window and adding the blue triangles at the vertices.
