The second meeting of the Acute Care System Priority Working Group was held today, bringing together senior leaders from across Alberta’s health system, including @AcuteCareAB, Emergency Health Services, @AssistLivingAB, @PrimaryCareAB, @RecoveryAlberta, @HealthQltyAB, the @Albertadoctors, @AHS_media, @CovenantCA, Government of Alberta officials, and EHS partners.
This session focused on EHS modernization, current challenges in emergency care, and opportunities to strengthen integration across Emergency Health Services, emergency departments, and the broader acute care system. The discussion generated constructive, system-level insights to support continued improvements in emergency health service delivery.
