Today I did something really stupid & thoughtless in an un-asked for attempt to explain something. It just looked creepy. After someone patiently explained why I was stupid, thoughtless & creepy I deleted the post. I have no excuses but I am truly sorry.

I have a friend who deliberately didn't inform a fling that she was pregnant. Life can be messy.

@DrPragyaAgarwal I know someone (a bloke) who has a gym membership but has been to the gym about twice. I think this is not unusual for people with gym membership. The spirit (and bank account) is willing but the flesh is weak.

PLUS: 1/ Not everyone has access to these facilities 2/ Not everyone can afford it (each class in my local gym costs £8.00 and membership is v steep 3/long covid has had its impact too on ability to exercise 4/women carry more parenting load on average ETC

£150 council tax rebate. To claim it I will have to go in person & get it in cash from the Post Office with current & valid photo ID. I am more or less housebound with no photo ID. I'm not even the person who pays it!

I thought all that ridiculous 'edgy' serving food on shovels, shoes etc had disappeared because of how stupid an idea it was.

@touretteshero I think it is the tip of a horrific iceberg. Bear in mind that many of these run-for-profit care homes don't get inspected for years because of cuts.

When I looked at just the 111 inspections published last week 50 of them were inadequate or requires improvement so 45% - this is much higher than the overall figure - 18.5%. Is anyone tracking or investigating this? Is this the tip of a horrific iceberg of dangerous care 3/3

I've been following @GeorgeJulian's threads on residential care inspections. I wanted to see what % of places overall were inadequate or requires improvement so did some quick maths. I'm not a statistician but I'm concerned the % providing poor care seems to be rising sharply 1/3

@Jonstackpool Years ago I dreamed I had discovered a completely new colour. Not an exciting shade of an existing one, a totally new colour. I could see it clearly in my dream but it vanished when I woke up. Those sort of dreams can be really unsettling & troublesome.
