Really funny to me that despite giving Micah Parsons shit for recording a podcast while on the Cowboys, I haven't heard a peep about Caleb Downs doing one.
Obviously, it's the offseason now, but if/when it continues in the season, it's going to be interesting to see who does and doesn't condemn it since Micah doing it was constantly criticized.

@ATBBTTR I’m old enough to remember (post BRM) when the Reds were considered one of the greatest franchises in all of sports. They were the freaking Cincinnati Reds. They had an aura. What has happened over the years just makes me sad. At least I have 1990…

I had a caller to Extra Innings, Jake from Dayon, say something that I haven't stopped thinking about. The 29-year old expressed his frustration with the #Reds, and concern that they are losing a generation of fans. Born in 1997, he pointed out that in his lifetime he's seen just nine winning seasons, five playoff teams, four home playoff games, and no home playoff wins. "It's an absolute disgrace I've not one single time seen the Reds advance in the postseason." "I grew up going to games with my dad, doing the scorebook, hearing stories of the Big Red Machine. I am dying for just one of those moments, here...once......just once" He noted how his age group is 'starving' for a winner. He fears they are losing a generation of fans, and the organization doesn't seem to care. Thoughts? I told him I'd make his call a show topic. We will discuss tonight in the 7pm hour.

@BleacherC27 @ReelCoachSmith Devil’s Advocate here but maybe their history is a reason why eyebrows were raised? Pell City isn’t exactly a large population/hotbed of athletes. So when new talent shows up, people notice.

You’re the first, only and only person to classify Pell City as a “major high school football program”. Don’t confuse one person with a dumpster fire of a program. 470-497-30 is their all time record. 49% WP. By any standard they are below average. Or, in better terms, losers.

@Pats28112904 @NBATIGAHBOY My son was a college athlete as well. We knew when and where we could see him. My younger son plays high school baseball and we know we’re not allowed near the dugout during games. Those are the rules and my kids would be embarrassed if we tried to break them.

@NBATIGAHBOY Everyone could have acted better but it’s hard to tell a guy who’s probably not getting paid a ton to risk his job or face a reprimand. I’d also imagine the guard constantly deals with people who aren’t family that try to be where they’re not allowed and lie to him. 1/2 ->

@ChrisJoneso7y @BenThomasPreps I think it’s a better experience for all kids involved to play a mixed schedule. They get exposed to all levels of competition. Just my opinion. There were already rules in place to mitigate private schools recruiting. Glad to see public getting held accountable.

@bryce_spalding Agree. I have a son who plays varsity baseball. They work on bunting every day in practice. We have more bunts not do what’s intended than those that do. And they’re a good team. Bunting is hard, especially for Myers. Let him swing.
