Be interesting to see which number Andy Robertson will have at Spurs because the 2️⃣6️⃣ which he has worn at Liverpool, Hull and Dundee is unofficially retired out of respect to former captain Ledley King
@Ollie_Davis Well, Lehmann played all 38 games in the invincible season, which was his debut season. So I can think of that one when including goalkeepers
@SebOnFootball Bryan Gil for me, 40m quid all together only made 24 apps for us in 5 years never completed 90 mins. Zero goals and 1 assist for 40 million
Just seen a video of a guy outside our ground asking fans what our worst ever signing is…
Basically all of them said Muani 🤣 which is miles off it I think. Not even signed him permanently ffs
@Lilywhite_Rose@TheAthleticFC Spurs have an estimated 140M fans worldwide. Tottenham should do the right thing and use this money to donate £1,000 to each of those fans as an apology for this poor season
understand #thfc are firmly looking to bolster the squad this summer with many current players expected to be moved on.
romero, sarr, richarlison, dragusin, vicario and bissouma are the names that could leave the club.
@Ragamory@17ccoys Rested against Newcastle (A), drew 2-2, minor injury so didn't play against City (H), drew 2-2, and was suspended against Liverpool (A), drew 1-1. Played 90 mins in all but 3 of his starts
Also missed our games v German teams in UCL, 2-0 each, but played 90 mins in our other 8
@O_486255804@MrBlackFootball The quality of attackers in those years was much better, they were definitely special, there's a reason people say that team might be the best to never win something in the pl era
@MrBlackFootball Would've been 26 if it weren't for the fact we played our C-team. + Different eras, that Spurs defence was okay, nothing special though
— 1 game a week.
— Kudus fit.
— Maddison fit.
— Experience in Senesi and Robertson.
— Preseason under De Zerbi.
— Vicario leaving.
— Vuskovic joining.
Tottenham will not be a joke next season. Don’t be surprised to see a title challenge.
@centerstoke@THFC__Cam@SpursOfficial I feel as though if we'd gone down we might have kept Phillips for his experience and performance in the Championship, but now we've stayed up we need to strengthen with players proven at a higher level so I see us as more likely to sell Phillips. I hope you get him!
@THFC__Cam@SpursOfficial Lmao you do know that Spurs going down would thighten the chances of my club, stoke city, to get Ash phillips (one of the best stoppers we have had since going down) on a permanent deal. So why tf would I want to wish for that knobhead
@wiscomrade@Flav_Bateman I wouldn't say he's completely incompetent as some of the talent he's brought in is decent, but he has undeniably failed us and shouldn't be given a chance to do any further harm. He was the "key driving force" behind Thomas Frank's appointment, a sackable offence on its own tbh
@Coysfr@Flav_Bateman Im not at all suggesting he’s good enough.
I’m only suggesting he hasn’t been completely useless. Overmatched, definitely. Completely incompetent? Not so sure.
@WYGE_1@FabrizioRomano He played 45 mins of football for you against Brentford, 0 goal contributions, made the bench 4 times and got loaned out to Leeds
Simons got 5g+6a in all comps for us and won us points on his own that were vital to us staying up, not a great season but compared to Buonanotte...
Special thanks to Aston Villa and Newcastle in recent weeks
2 big clubs ignoring all the small clubs crying begging them to lose just to relegate another club
Cheers lads
🤍
@wiscomrade@Flav_Bateman He's a glorified scout, he finds young players with high potentials but that's not what we need to compete at the highest level as we should be doing, our director of football should not have us in a situation where we don't sign anyone in Jan and barely scrape 17th on last day
