@coziestsoup Hey @coziestsoup,
I came across your vibe coded game Vibe Tank Arena and was genuinely impressed by the clever turn-based design. it was a simple but really fun!
Can I send you a DM?

Spent some time reflecting on the game I made #vibejam - VibeTankArena (vibe-tank-arena.vercel.app). Some random thoughts:

@unicodeveloper @Railway @vercel Good point. I started off with Vercel and found out it doesn't support websockets out of the box, so went with whatever ChatGPT suggested for the server.
Im on the free plan on Vercel and latency isn't an issue, so I'm not in a hurry to migrate.

@coziestsoup @Railway @vercel What’s stopping you from hosting both server and client with @Railway
It’s easier, cheaper and it will make the interaction between client and server very fast because they will both be deployed in the same region
Latency will be gone

Here's the final version I submitted. Couldn't spend a whole lot of time on this, but vibe coding takes productivity to the next level.
It's a fast-paced, turn-based tank dueling game. Both players enter their commands in the planning phase and watch them play out simultaneously.

Been a while since I did a game jam, so here's my entry to #vibejam : vibe-tank-arena.vercel.app Still plenty of rough edges, and a bunch of things I want to add. Gotta say, it's great to go back to building games for fun

If you have a few mins, try the game out here: vibe-tank-arena.vercel.app

This workflow blew my mind in terms of how easy it is to go from idea to 3d model. I used it in my #vibejam game VibeTankArena, and it just worked!
But I noticed an issue straight away - the model was very dark, though it looked alright in the image.
