The russian hacker group KillNet is threatening a large-scale cyberattack in the EU – rosZMI. It is threatening to be the first to cripple French infrastructure. According to the hackers, they have allegedly developed a new "network weapon" that could isolate the country for months. This is not a typical DDoS attack, but a "digital apocalypse" – potentially leading to the complete failure of devices. KillNet's threat should be taken seriously, as the group has been capable of conducting limited but disruptive cyberattacks in the past. However, the claimed "digital apocalypse" involving months of isolation and device failures is technically unlikely and sounds like an exaggeration aimed at propaganda.
