The math standards are paired with the 8 mathematical practices. Students should ALWAYS be engaged in AT LEAST one of these practices. It is not uncommon that a math worksheet has zero of these.

Special education is a SERVICE a student receives. This is not a student's identity. There are no "special education students."

Our job is to teach the students we have. Not the ones we would like to have. Not the ones we used to have. Those we have right now. All of them.
