Always blamed injuries, the lack of investment, referee decisions etc. Every single bad result has had nothing to do with him… expert in deflection.

Obviously I’m not saying I don’t rate Adam, I think he’s generational and will play for a top European side.. But I’m saying if his performances can dip after the quality we’ve all seen, it’s only fair to give the others a bit of grace too… it’s not on the players at this point.

Mateta is not a striker who’s always been good but currently out of form He a striker who’s always been trash but had a purple patch Very very replaceable. If he wants out with 18mths left fuck it let him go
