Hospital - patient was taken to critical care emergency & given few injections - CT and MRI was done - Emergency bill: ₹8000 I don’t think any normal person can afford such expensive emergency services Question is, emergency services are free or paid? 3. Treatment - since the treatment involves only medicine and monitoring, as expected Bed is Not available was the answer - Discharge summary says “Bed is not available as per Patient choice” which is not the case “Medicine & Monitoring based cases keep the beds occupied and hospitals can’t do excessive billing” is the reason 4. Shifting of Patient to another hospital - Max Saket arranged another hospital IBS Lajpat Nagar since we told them that it is hospital duty to find another CGHS empanelled hospital - Ambulance for shifting the patient is to be arranged by patient & hospital has zero responsibility towards the same Max Ambulance: ₹4000 Other Private Ambulance: ₹2500 CGHS: Don’t cover Ambulance cost We got the patient admitted to AIIMS but point here is, how this open loot by private hospitals is allowed and why @MoHFW_INDIA @PMOIndia @NITIAyog are silent on this Country where 80Cr people are living on free ration, how can ₹4000 Ambulance cost is not challenged by Government of India Private hospitals are having a free run right now without any check and this is one strong reason for Insurance companies to deny the Insurance claims Forget common public, even govt employees under CGHS are also not spared by these private hospitals

She had later taken admission in a course in Kerala but the dates did not match. This was under the Pinayari Government, which is seen as a government against BJP and Modi. Yet. So, the journalist friend had to go the Kerala to get the case withdrawn. The States Public Prosecutor was called for a meeting with the CM. In that meeting the PP agreed to withdraw the case. But did not withdraw the case. He demanded 5 Lakhs from the journalist to withdraw the case. The friend went back to the intermediary who had arranged the meeting with the CM. The friend was left with no option but to pay up, otherwise, his daughter would have been jailed. Eventually he paid 2 Lakhs cash for a case that did not even exist in the first place. But UAPA is so draconian that the accused has to prove that he is not guilty, turning all logic on its head. Normally it is the state that has to prove the person guilty, but under UAPA, the reverse is true. She had already completed the course and had got employment in another state with that state's government. As she had been named in the FIR and under UAPA, her job was terminated. Imagine, this was done in a state where BJP was not the ruling party. The point I am trying to make is that if the government takes it upon itself, it can use its draconian powers to harass any citizen, across party lines and ideology. In this instance, the case was filed by a Left Government against the daughter of a journalist who is working to expose the Modi government, thus making it impossible for him to blame the Modi government for the false case....
