At #FMQs @HumzaYousaf says re the cash injection from @scotgov to community pharmacies of £20m: part of our continued investment to "adequately fund" CPs. Whilst this is a welcome step forward this alone will be insufficient to keep doors open and meet community healthcare needs . To give some perspective on this - £20m appears to be a very big number but represents only 1.74% of the annual medicine spend for Scotland. Pharmacy owner medicine costs have increased by over three times this amount. If we are to sustain the high level of clinical care that CPs provide the people of Scotland it is crucial that our MSPs understand the costs that are involved: scottishparliament.tv/meeting/first-…
