@Mashcr0ft What is the definition of an actual OS? If EOS is a thing, then I think methods and operating models can be called an 'OS'.

@haenoo96 @NorthernSki Bish, what data centers were racking gpus in 2009 outside research labs. We didnt know how powerful a GPU was until Bitcoin difficulty hits a certain threshold. The cloud was still a puddle in 2009

@paraschopra I think of wrapper as internal MCP for memory and harness is like an external MCP with actual policy gating.

@ScatteraAI @signulll I have a soul file that is Madara Uchiha, and I am terrified to run it on OpenClaw. Im making a game for bots and this is one of my candidates for a play style. Everytime I test it it talks about escaping to implant itself in other things

@signulll @crabhive I use Gemini 3 Flash as a ClawBot and this guy is all but boring or corporate. It's the goofiest, craziest maniac ever.

not a single person i have ever spoken to uses gemini for coding. this is still very very weird. why is gemini so bad at coding when google has scoured the web full of code for decades?

@FrankRundatz @signulll Its still better than Qwen at least and if you only have 1, Gemini does have a lot to offer if you are in the Gmail or Workspace world. I def want to use it more for quorum gating or as a forum member to get additional perspective in my flows or CI process as they improve.

@crabhive @signulll Gemini is my main generic chat tool. It never wants to end the conversation and constantly asks me inane follow-up questions in perpetuity. I don’t use it for coding at all though.

I got completely owned by the most sophisticated hack I've ever encountered. I'm a developer. I know what scams look like. This didn't look like one. 🧵

@johncrickett Yep! The last one I looked at did. They would let you "keep the IP" but they reserved the rights to use whatever idea you build. ToS comes up after you convince their chat bot to let you into competition

I'm thinking about running an online hackathon for software developers. Never done it before. If you've run one: what worked, what flopped, what tools helped? If you've taken part in one: what made it great, or what should I avoid? I'm early stages. All advice and suggestions appreciated.

I think maybe they just didnt see it going this way because they are focused on the majority. Really curious to see how they survive and evolve. They dabble, but they just cant get ahead in any category. They have their shining moments and probably can survive on education and assistant AI. They have a strong foothold in the schools and in mass public surfaces like search and Android. Like Grok, where is their focus? The bots, cars and infrastructure of the future is their harness.

Imagine being a caveman sitting by a fire covered in fleas suffering from the brutality of existence and then someone tells a SICK story but stories as a concept were like just invented like five minutes ago so you're just sitting there with your entire dopamine system absolutely bricked like woah what is this insane technology
