@eregontp @helvetic_ruby There can be exceptionally 30 minute talks. We preferred to ask for shorter sessions, so that even if something takes a little longer on the day of the conference, we still have a reasonable schedule.

Placing SVG icons just right in web interfaces is surprisingly tricky. I regularly rediscover all the parts to make it work: - a handful of SVG attributes - multiple levels of flexbox layout - a zero-width space character (?!). I wrote down my recipe: dimiterpetrov.com/blog/svg-icon-…

@fasterthanlime A horizontal scrollbar appears once the images load in Firefox and Chrome. Safari, which does not support lazy loading, has the scrollbar from the start.
