Apple has quietly halted App Store updates for popular AI "vibe-coding" applications most notably the $9 billion startup Replit and mobile app builder Vibecode. After months of pushback, Apple is reportedly demanding major UX changes. Replit is being asked to force its generated app previews to open in an external web browser rather than natively inside its app. Vibecode was told it must completely remove the ability to generate software specifically for Apple devices.

You don't rise to the level of your goals. You fall to the level of your systems. The person who says "I want to read more" but has no reading habit won't read more. The person who blocks 30 minutes every morning for reading will finish 20+ books a year without thinking about it. Goals without systems are just wishes.

Since cutting Instagram and YouTube from my life, something unexpected happened. I'm happier. Not "productive-happy" where you feel good because you ticked off a to-do list. Actually happier. More present. More grateful for small things. Less anxious. Turns out, when you stop flooding your brain with cheap dopamine all day, your baseline goes up. You start finding joy in real things — a good conversation, a walk, a book, a workout. You don't need more dopamine. You need less noise.
