Many people don’t like the Drew Allar and that’s perfectly fine. • Fantastic arm; something we haven’t had in a very, very long time. • Effortless touch. • Far better athlete than people think. The upside is very, very high and I’m beyond excited for Mike McCarthy, Brian Angelico and Tom Arth to work with him (Big Mac is a great QB developer and Brian Angelico learned under KOC). There’s some stuff to clean up, but IF he can develop properly the upside is remarkably high.

@PittsburghSport One of the things I don't see much of is grading drafts 3-4yrs ago, people put a lot of stock in current. 2022 I'd give it a C- or D+. 2023 B+. 2024 D-.

So far this is really for me a B- type draft for the #Steelers. They didn’t land anyone that makes you think “wow I can’t believe they landed this guy” but outside of Allar no big reaches either. And I can sort of understand taking a flyer on a guy with his tools as a QB-needy team. Just feels like a draft a team that went deep into the postseason makes - not a team trying to get there. 7th-8th best OL. 10th best WR. Dunker was easily the best value pick. A lot of solid guys but not sure how many really help move the needle in a big way for the team. We’ll see.
