@ScottHanson @Disney @espn Let's not pretend it's something it's not. It's just to open the door and find a way in. Slowly changing what is just a perfect NFL show. Give it 3 or 4 years and there will be loads of adverts, and a premium subscription options to go "ad free". This is just stage 1

Additional clarity for those who care: 1. No one told me to post this. 2. The 4 total commercials tomorrow will be :15 seconds and in a double box, in between plays. *none* during the Witching Hour. 3. Adding commercials was not a @Disney @espn decision. 4. Opening catch phrase will change - (you & I will have to get used to it together.) 5. Sending you this info because if roles were reversed, I would want *you* to tell *me*. Thanks. Love you guys!

I know being on last you don't get much coverage, but didn't even talk about Davis goal on #MOTD 🤣 Atleast they admitted the ref got it all wrong in the key stages.

@prickettboy3 @LiamITFC88 Be calling for a new striker signing every week when we don't score a goal. Then back to the "2 up top" chats. The downside of success is the fanbase it brings

@LiamITFC88 Not even just the winning. I fear they've become accustomed to us scoring >3 per game too. I'll be surprised if we replicate that (we won't) I might be pleasantly surprised by the reaction to a few hard defeats and lack of wins but I doubt it.

This will be the season I leave Twitter (X). I can feel it now. I fear some fans' expectations for this season & what lies ahead are unrealistic, and when some beatings are handed out to us, the meltdown is gonna be too much for me. #itfc

Different world at #PMQs Shows how power corrupts and changes people. Sunak coming across really well as opposition. First time in maybe 8 years that questions at PMQs are being answered

@talkSPORT this morning, the question asked was "is Trippier a top player still?". Somehow Saunders managed to make the answer "if klopp was in charge of England Trent would be playing center mid for Real Madrid". I mean.... what? Turned right off

The years of hurt continue, now stretching towards 60 years for England’s men team. The pain this time came from Spain, more inventive, more decisive. Footballing matadors put John Bull to the sword. Spain have lit up Euro 2024, England have rather laboured through Germany. Spain make worthy winners. So close. So frustrating for England. They fought hard but Spain were better. And so all those decades of anguish and under-achievement, a dodgy beer here, a proliferation of fear there, remain in the mind’s eye. All those dismaying decisions, divisive club cliques, imbalanced midfields, wayward penalties, and broken hearts and metatarsals stay in the national consciousness. One day they will be consigned to history. But for now they shape England's present. “We have to get this trophy to get the respect of the rest of the football world,” Southgate had said. But they return from Germany with respect. They showed resilience, again fighting back from going a goal behind, this time from Williams, and again showing their strength in depth, this time Palmer rising from the bench and equalising. Yet Spain were too good, and also have good subs, and Oyarzabal struck at the death. There will inevitably be talk of whether Southgate will want to continue when his contract expires in December. He has had four tournaments, two finals, and no trophy. He has a fine pool of players to draw from. But the FA want him to stay, so do the players and most of the fans. But he’s had four goes. Anyway, whatever us outsiders might think, it will be Southgate’s call. His players play for him. Not having started a game for five months, Shaw was immense here in Berlin, standing up to Yamal. Spain had more of the ball, 70% first half, but England had the belief, they had Shaw playing so well. Over on the right, Walker largely made Williams turn inside into traffic. Saka took on Cucurella, delighting England fans who clearly don’t like the full-back. Cucurella duly confirmed his pantomime villain status by tumbling under a fair Saka challenge. Chelsea v Arsenal. Premier League stories everywhere. Foden tried to close down his club-mate, Rodri. City v City. England fans, outnumbering the Spanish by at least 3-1, were unstinting in their support. They’ve waited so long for this, they’ve travelled so far and invested so much time, money and emotion, “Football’s coming home” rolled around the Olympiastadion England settled. Stones slid in superbly to intercept a Williams cross. England fans reprised the National Anthem. Their players finished the half well, not reigning but reviving. Kane’s shot was blocked by Rodri, who injured himself in the process. Foden’s volley was held by Simon. England should have been lifted by Rodri staying off at the break. Maybe they switched off, a momentary lapse of concentration costing them within 69 seconds. Yamal raced in from the right and England froze. Walker was most culpable, taking his eye off Williams, who sped from the left on to Yamal’s pass and calmly shot past Pickford. England were cut apart by pace and precision passing. Pickford went ballistic. Trippier broke off from warming up to urge some calm. Fans chanted for Watkins. Southgate obliged (60). It had to be Kane off and it was. He was struggling, drained physically, never looking fully fit. Watkins, the rescue service, sped on. Southgate, making earlier subs, now gambled (71), swapping Mainoo’s screening for Palmer’s creativity. Two minutes on, boom. Another magical moment: Saka down the right, Bellingham’s clever lay-off, Palmer’s unerring, low, left-footed finish. Palmer has ice in his veins and thunder in his boots. England have such strength in depth. So do Spain: Cucurella angled a ball in from the left and Oyarzabal slid in to score (86). England refused to go quietly. Rice twice and Guehi went close with headers. But their luck had run out. The final whistle was drowned out by the sound of Spanish oles and English sighs. And so it goes on. The hurt. #ESPENG #EURO2024

We have to be thankful for the foundations Southgate has set. He has brought this country and team together. However, at the very top level of decisions he has come up short. Time to walk away. Head held high, achieved loads but needs to hand it over.

Today is the day! Doesnt matter how we win it, so long as we win it. All of the stick Southgate has rightly got will be forgotten. Nobody remembers how you win it, so long as you win it. You all have our full backing, go and get that trophy, bring it home! #England #ThreeLions

@NeilAtkinson58 Yep fully agree. It's not his fault he is being played. Excellent finisher but congests the field by dropping deep but never stretches it. We look far better when tony comes on. Energy is prob the reason but Southgate must realise it. Swap them and we have a serious chance to win

All teams in Euros are “not right”. Possibly except Spain. Long hard season for elite players. Here in France national team under fire but in semis. It’s too many games leading to fatigue and lower quality. Kane is good example. An elite player had a great goal scoring season. He’s run out of gas. Maybe Toney or Watkins can help. Let’s see. #itfc

Still not right this #England team. Main issue is Kane upfront and manager that reacts late and can't change a game until we are behind. 1 thing that is great is those pens. Fancy us on pens against anyone. Fantastic 5 pens. Happy to shit our way through if we win it though!

@FrayBarnard Had mine for coming up 2 years. Never had an issue with range, most motorway services has super chargers anyway. Effortless to drive. Just get on the octopus energy tariff and it's super cheap to fill up. Best thing I ever got

Been a month since we got an electric car, I don’t think people realise just how good they are. Apart from the 0-6mph in about 4secs, it costs about £4 for a full charge! It’s the way forward!
