Of the top 30 scorers in the Scottish Premiership this season, nobody has a better minute per goal ratio than Youssef Chermiti. Shankland has a goal every 157 mins, Nygren 143, Maswanhise 145, Braga 182, John-Jules 144, Barney Stewart 145… none as good as Chermiti’s 138 minutes per goal. The only player I could find with better was Youan at Hibs and he’s played a lot less minutes so the sample size isn’t as comparable. Eleven goals now in twenty five appearances for Chermiti, fifteen of those being starts. Imagine what those numbers would be like if he scored against those bottom six teams too! He’s an enigma for sure, and it feels like he misses multiple chances every game, but he’s got real talent. If he tidies his finishing up he’ll be a hell of a player - and one that’ll make us a major profit one day.
