My favourite argument for keeping Wilder is let him have a full season and then judge, but he did have a full season last season with a higher budget, better players an fucked up twice, we are supposed to believe he can do something he hasn’t done in 10 years with less resources

@jonathonchapma2 Last season wasn’t a failure imo . I didn’t expect promotion at start of season . We basically started from scratch apart from a few players . It was a rebuild season . It ended in a heartbreaking way but that’s SUFC . That playoff final could only happen to us

@jonathonchapma2 It’s who wilder would have signed . Out of all the 14 selles signings wilder doesn’t sign 1 of them and spends probs 20% of what selles spent . Ruben selles will cost us at least 5 yrs imo . The teams coming down this season we’ve got no chance

@craigsablade30 I believe we would be top 6 potentially but not guaranteed with his record against the top half teams this season, the Selles argument only goes so far as 9 of the starting 11 are Wilders players and they downed tools to get him back so they need to shoulder the blame too

@jonathonchapma2 Even last season was a kind of miracle . 92 points in a complete rebuild season. Fate conspired against us . 92 points gets you promoted in any other season bar 2 in championship history . Luck is a thing in football without it you win nothing

@jonathonchapma2 Explain the culture he’s created to me ? If you take Wilder out our history we might not have a club now . He’s produced 3 miracles . He’s made mistakes as we all do but I genuinely believe that no other man alive today would be better for SUFC than him .

Littler is ridiculous. Might not beat Taylors records but a lot of that is down to quality of opposition. Littler v Taylor both in their pomp would have been some match!
