So they want a law to give them an automatic seat instead. The alternative of course would be for them to become a body that the fans would want to represent them.

Agree with the sentiment of having constructive challenge in the FAB. In the case of Northampton Town the supporters representative was elected from an open ballot. From my knowledge the Supporters Trust offered no candidate #ntfc

A fans’ alliance drawn from 21 clubs is calling for the role of trusts on Fan Advisory Boards to be enshrined in law through the Football Governance Bill. Fans want an amendment to ensure FABs are not composed solely of appointees sympathetic to club owner.
