@gotrice2024 My first question would be, why on earth would I go to Bali just to eat burgers? I'm probably too old for that, when I first visited Asia, they didn't even have them there yet...

This influencer was on vacation and decided to do a review for a local burger restaurant. As soon as she took her first bite she knew she was going to have a hard time with this one.
I don’t think people realize how much more different our food is from other countries food. Beef here in the United States may taste totally different than the beef you would get in Bali. I don’t feel there is any reason to make a scene, or complain about it especially if that’s how the food is supposed to taste. My advice is to take it all in stride, start trying things little by little and work your way up.
I think it’s important to remember that these foods aren’t going to taste the same as back home. But that doesn’t mean that they are going to taste bad, just different. I remember trying a hotdog while one a trip to Asia. I should have known better to be honest, I got one at a gas station of all places. What was odd to me was that the ketchup packet it came with was a familiar brand I’ve had before in the states. But since food regulation is different in other countries, I didn’t recognize the taste at all, it was like trying it for the first time. The hotdog reminded me of the Vienna sausages in the can, I still ate it because I didn’t want to appear rude, however I just remember to never try that again and try to stick to more familiar restaurants like McDonald’s.
