Those businesses who only see the creative process as a bottle neck are also the people who hire guys like me. Many clients already ask for AI tools and inputs. That's just facts. I've been full-time in this industry for 5 years. Most of the time it's just for lols or shit posting but those corporate groups and start ups LOVE using ai Fortunately, now I make most of my money in gaming. But AI is definitely a thing most video editors have to now how to use.

@cravcave @Hatena360 No man, that last point isnt it. you don't have to force yourself to use these tools, as Max said in the stream, eventually craft made by real artists that put real effort in what they create will be valued more than mass produced content

I agree, but explaining this to AI bros will do nothing. They don’t see the value in art, they see the value in product and output. They will never understand art and it shows whenever one shows up in the replies with “it’s just the future bro”. Yeah they said that with NFTs too.

@cravcave @Hatena360 i could never ever bring myself to appreciate ai “art” in the slightest. as someone who frequently visits museums and studied art, art is the most raw form of human emotion nothing will ever compare to it

Human art is the most bad ass and cool thing. No other species does it. Unfortunately, when creation crosses in with business, people who are focused on output and numbers do not care about that. And the most tragic part is neither do the consumers. I have multiple friends and family who listen to AI generated channels, AI generated music, and they are fully aware and they still enjoy it. I also see tons of people who consume this stuff and don't realize it's AI. The " creative process " is seen as nothing but a bottleneck and an expense for most brands/businesses. Sadly, genuine creators and editors like myself will be forced to use these tools more and more to compete with the sheer volume of the AI slop.
