I tried to make sense of the language used by elections BC, “You've also noted some discrepancies between the anticipated and actual numbers of votes reported at final count for some electoral districts.” “Anticipated” is an interesting word to use. 3. Be aware announced May 27th 2025 Elections BC will be recommending: “Results reporting will be automated for full-tech voting places. This will involve directly and securely uploading results data from tabulator memory cards” 4. If the circus and pony show going on in American elections concerns you, British Columbia will be the first to mimic it. 5. Elections BC has stated they will be following up with a list of recommendations via a second report in the Fall of 2025, with no public oversight. This is my Official Warning and Reminder to British Columbians. *** Voting by phone *** Did you know that “Approximately” 1,800 British Columbians voted by phone on the night of the BC Election night? This leaves around 2914 who called into vote from the 10th to 18th. A total of 4,714 people voted via phone. Up 343% from 2017 and 36.12% from 2020. Another method to which aren’t present in the marking of your ballot. Typically used for Canadian Forces abroad, historically.

They have to be transcribed onto an ordinary ballot without you present. Read that again, then look at this graph. Double the amount the last two elections trending downward. Statistical anomalies exist in every facet of this election. “If the ballot is a write-in ballot, the voter's vote is transcribed onto an ordinary ballot so that it can be read by an electronic tabulator.
