Story Time: Sometimes I lucid dream. For those that don't know, it just means I am aware sometimes I'm dreaming. Last night i had one of these. In the dream a few of my friends and @JordanPeele were hanging out. He turns to us and says "i have something to show you". 1/11

@videogamedeals depend on gyro controls. if the game plays better with gyro controls. I default to switch 2 cause I prefer their gyro over ps5's. Otherwise ill get it for my ps5. Cyberpubk plays better on switch 2 so I'd rather give up on the graphics if I get to play the way I enjoy.

When given a choice, which platform do you buy the game for by default and why?

@Ruleof2Review Im getting this on the switch 2 cause of gyro. I know that ps5 also has gyro, but the switch 2 version uses the appropriate gyro direction so I can play it in handheld or in docked mode. The ps5 one cant use motion controls properly on the ps portal.

Two weeks until Pragmata. Really stoked for this game. I’m undecided on which version to get but I’m still leaning towards the Switch 2. Will be nice to have something new to play.

@BeeFun__ I use switch 2 handheld like 90% of the time so I’m happy I decided to go with the PS5 version. For some reason I just can’t get my switch 2 to look good on my TV settings 😭

🔴🗒️ TEST — South of Midnight sur Switch 2 Un port à deux visages. En portable, ça montre vite ses limites : image parfois floue, environnements un peu vides, framerate autour de 25-30 FPS et pas toujours stable. Jouable, mais pas optimal. En docké, c’est une autre histoire : 60 FPS fluides, textures solides, belles lumières… ça se rapproche d’une version Series X et sur certains points dépasse même la Series S. Les temps de chargement sont rapides, aucun bug majeur, et la manette Pro fait le job. 💡 Conclusion : bon port, mais clairement pensé pour la TV. Si vous jouez surtout en portable, l’expérience est plus mitigée. Pour ceux qui connaissent déjà le jeu, le PC ou Xbox restent meilleurs. Pour les nouveaux, c’est une très bonne porte d’entrée sur Switch 2. 📊 Ma note : 6/10

@Swag_Lanister @coryjuly1988 @Wario64 I know it was pretty blah at launch, but I checked after the last update my internet usage afterwards with the new high bitrate mode enabled (the ps5 is hardwired no the modem). Said my upload and download rate was about 0.9 mbps each and the game was crystal clear.

@artofsully Also a gradient tool where it makes a gradient from the top and bottom of the geo based on the provided colors... and yeah I'd buy this if this was in the asset store.

@artofsully This reminds me of the old plugin for Maya called vertex chameleon. A great feature that one had was you can take 2 color snapshots and make a 3rd that is a blend of the 2. So if you have a color snapshot of AO and another with base colors. You can multiply them together.

since Unity doesn't have a vertex painting tool anymore, I've been working on my own! i've not dabbled with the asset store before but is this something ppl would be interested in if i put it up for sale cheap? 👀

@Nintendeal Dragon Quest XI always looked a bit rough on switch 2 IMO, looks wayy better now. Still grass seems noisy but much better than it was before.
