I hate all these passport rankings that rank the "power" of passports based on how many visa-free countries their holders can access. The strength of a passport isn't the number of visa-free countries you can access. It's how influential your government is abroad to sway things your way when things go awry. Believe me, when things go awry, I'd much rather be holding an American passport than a shitty Asian or African one. Sometimes just mentioning the US Embassy can get you out of some pretty sticky situations. I've seen it happen right before my eyes, so I never take for granted the consular and embassy services offered by the US government for Americans abroad. So yes, I'll be keeping my American passport. You can keep your Singaporean or UAE passport and access maybe 5 more shithole countries visa-free than Americans can.
