My son texted me the letter "X" at 11 PM. That is our agreement.
It means: "Things are getting weird. Get me out. But make it look like you are the bad guy." I called him immediately. I used my "angry dad" voice. "I told you to clean the garage before you left! Get home right now or you're grounded for a month!" He hung up, rolled his eyes at his friends, and said, "My dad is such a psycho. I gotta go." He got in the car. He was safe. He didn't have to be a "snitch" or "uncool." He just had to be the kid with the annoying dad. I will wear that badge every single day if it keeps him safe.

I never thought I was raised by low income parents during a time when almost everyone treated each other with respect. We didn't eat a lot of fast food because it was considered a treat, not a food group. We drank Kool-Aid made from water that came from our kitchen sink with real sugar. We ate bologna sandwiches, or even tuna (which was in a can not a pouch), PB&J & , hot dogs, but mostly homemade meals consisting of mainly dough, meat, potatoes, vegetable, bread & butter, and homemade dessert.
We grew up during a time when we mowed lawns, pulled weeds, babysat, helped neighbors with chores to be able to earn our own money. We went outside a lot to play games, ride bikes, red rover, dodge ball, run with siblings, and friends & played hide and seek. We drank tap water from the water hose outside... bottled water was unheard of. If we had a coke -it was in a glass bottle ... and we took the empties back to the store for a 5 cent deposit.
We watched TV shows like Bonanza, Leave It To Beaver, Gilligan's Island, Happy Days, Bewitched, The Brady Bunch, Little House On The Prairie, and I Love Lucy. After school, we came home, and did homework, and chores before going outside or having friends over. We would ride our bikes for hours. We had to tell our parents where we were going, who we were going with, and what time we'd be back.
You LEARNED from your parents instead of disrespecting them, and treating them as if they knew absolutely nothing. What they said was LAW, and you did not question it, and you had better know it!!!
When the sun was starting to set you had better be home. In school we said the Pledge of Allegiance, we stood for the National Anthem, and listened to our teachers, also had prayer each morning.
We watched what we said around our elders because we knew if we DISRESPECTED any grown-up we would get our behinds whipped, it wasn't called abuse, it was called discipline! We held doors, carried groceries, and gave up our seat for an older person without being asked. You didn't hear curse words on the radio in songs or TV, and if you cursed and got caught you had a bar of soap stuck in your mouth, and had to stand in the corner. “Please, Thank you, yes please no thank you yes ma'am no ma'am yes sir, and no sir were part of our daily vocabulary!
Re-post if you're thankful for your childhood, and will never forget where you came from & the time you came from! ❤

Hey Texas....great job re-electing the Governor who helped make this happen. Idiots!
✪ Evil Te𝕏an ✪@vileTexan
Muslims, in Texas, are telling Texans to "go home" so they can peacefully discuss the Islamic takeover of Texas. And the police are siding with... the Muslims. Ban Islam from Texas.

When I ran for President in 08, @chucknorris endorsed me & he & Gena traveled with @janethuckabee & me for over 4 months. Their Christian faith was authentic & deep as was their love for each other. His love of America was profound and borne out of a patriotism that was part of his upbringing & his military service. He was humble & kind. I'll never forget a visit we made to a Veterans Home in New Hampshire. Chuck & Gena graciously visited with every veteran, listening & caring. Most of these veterans idolized Chuck Norris. He & Gena were patient, warm, & compassionate. When we got in the vehicle after the visit, I looked over at them & they were both weeping having been touched by these aging US veterans & their stories. Chuck Norris took God seriously but never took himself too seriously. We often spent travel time sharing Chuck Norris jokes. We went to his ranch in Texas. We kept in touch after the campaign. His given name is Carlos, but it took a while to get used to using the name Gena & his mother called him because after all, he was CHUCK NORRIS! Got to know his wonderful mother who passed away in 2024. He was a guest multiple times on my TV show. When I was named Ambassador to Israel, he was thrilled. He was a strong friend of Israel & of @IsraeliPM Netanyahu. My heart is broken by his death. My condolences to Gena & his family. The legend may be gone, but the memories will never die. Thank you Chuck. "Well done, good & faithful servant!"

@Prolotario1 @realTheresaRosa Yes and thank you. He had me fooled until you pointed out who he really is.

Michael Flynn literally can not hide anymore. He is siding with everyone that has betrayed Donald Trump. He is even supporting CCP propaganda. You know it's over when Laura Loomer is now calling him out. Something s/he was not doing since I been posting here. Do you all see why I was so consistent with my accusations towards M. Flynn? All you had to do was stick around. Now you see everyone for who they are. Once I call out someone it literally goes downhill from there. Have you noticed?

@BuzzPatterson @JessicaTarlov @TheFive Come on. It’s absolutely ridiculous. Unfortunately, her base thinks things like this.
English

.@JessicaTarlov just said President Trump ran in 2024 “to stay out of prison.”
Really, @TheFive?

@Jaz4DT The people she is worried about can get an exemption and vote by mail. Trump implied that there could be exceptions.

I refuse to believe that Texans would elect such a transparently phony individual.

@ailanyus Worse than Carter and that’s saying alot. My momma was a republican but she voted for Carter because he was a Christian. She and everyone else found out that Even a Christian can be a bad leader. Biden couldn’t even stand up to that model.
