@val__greg how do you compile the file? I see that claude continues to compile its own files when it runs into something important to remember across sessions.

@createwithpal self-driven /compact still requires knowing what matters before you've forgotten it. a file you re-feed claude across sessions is the only version that survives compaction. haven't got the file format right yet

claude code tip: when context compaction kicks in, it auto-summarizes your session, but that summary is lossy. decisions, constraints, edge cases you discussed? Gone. fix: run /compact yourself before you hit the limit, with instructions on what to keep. ex.:/compact Focus on: current auth architecture, and the unresolved rate limiting bug on /api/users you control what survives, seems to give better results.

I'm so close to submitting PufferPages to the app store for review! Didn't sleep much the last days to make it work and 1000 errors fixed Fun fact is that I came up with the idea for the app last Saturday and now we are almost shipping😅 Did you ship anything these days?

@CrlynBuild I’ve used midjourney in the past, prompting it can be tricky, but if you attach assets for reference it’s pretty good at picking the style

designers, game devs, anyone with art in your app: how are you generating your art assets? i've been using nano banana for generating pixel art but it can be pretty variable. currently hitting a bit of a wall with it. what tools are you all using & what's been working best?

Should I do it? Should I just move to California? Everyone keeps asking me, as both a founder and someone that works in tech, why I live in the Midwest. Honestly being close to family is huge, but sometimes I wonder to what degree I am hampering my own ambition.

@KuphDev i spent 2 years in michigan, and i prefer that over the winds in SF hahaha. its hard to explain. but again, if your focus is to find the next opportunity - don't think twice!

@KuphDev well if that's the case, worth trying SF for a bit, and see how you like it. imo there is only one downside to the city if you can afford it- its the winds haha, it's sweater weather all year, but the kind of chilly windy that i don't personally appreciate

@createwithpal Actually if I were to move there I’d have another opportunity lined up. Current startup is getting pretty stable. And honestly most of the product is built and the team is set. My cofounder handles day-to-day operations so I’m kinda looking for what’s next.
