Paper is laid flat down on the inked block and passed through a press under pressure which transfers the ink to the paper. This print is a mirror image of the cut block.

Everyone at Peacock is deeply saddened to hear of John’s passing. We send our collective condolences to all his family and friends. John Byrne – 1940-2023 John Byrne was a father, husband, artist, screenwriter, illustrator and stage designer and a great friend and mentor to many.

We recently hosted Tom at the print studio where he worked on a new top secret print! We also managed to work on a brand new Peacock Legacy poster which will be super limited and available to buy soon so keep an eye out and get em before they’re gone ⚔️⚔️⚔️

We’re still recovering from Saturdays closing event for ‘Popcorn Octopus’ but what a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon with new and old friends taking the time to visit The Print Room and Craig 🐙 Our visitors range from 80 to 3 days old and everyone is welcome at Peacock.
