@WeatherlyDarryl LOOK UP
The heavens declare the glory of God;
and the firmament sheweth his handywork.
Psalm 19:1
LOOK IN
I will praise thee;
for I am fearfully and wonderfully made:
marvellous are thy works;
and that my soul knoweth right well.
Psalm 139:14

1 John 1:8-10 is a good read on this topic.
If we say that we have no sin,
we deceive ourselves,
and the truth is not in us.
If we confess our sins,
he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins,
and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
If we say that we have not sinned,
we make him a liar,
and his word is not in us.
English

NO ONE, not even saved believers are 100% free from sin. If you claim that,you are lying! We are not made perfect yet in this life,and are still in our carnal bodies . A thought,an urge,an ungodly word. We must daily continue to be sober and serious and accountable for our actions and words,and never give up the fight for holiness,BUT as horrible as we should feel and do, for grieving the Holy Spirit,for sinning,God does not undo our salvation. If people are habitually living in sin,not doing all to turn from them, they may THINK they are saved,but not,because the old person still lives and they were never regenerated as a new person.

A bit of a "pet peeve" of mine.
Jesus was BORN over 2,000 years ago.
Jesus came to EARTH over 2,000 years ago.
Jesus DIED ALMOST 2,000 years ago.
(Reminded me of an invitation I saw in 2006 or so that stated "Jesus died 2,000 years ago")
Minor detail, but details matter.

Jesus died over 2,000 years ago. Yet, nobody ever refers to Him as the late Jesus. Never is He referred to in the past tense. Why? Because, of the resurrection! He is the living God!

Considering that the gifts are given by the Holy Spirit as HE SEES FIT.
Considering that the gifts are given for the edification (building up) of the Church.
They are useful and valuable in their place when used as God intended.
Interesting that 1 Corinthians 13 (Love chapter) is right in the middle of two chapters (12 & 14) focused on describing gifts and their usage.
English

"[Gifts] differ in degree and in importance and so on, but not in their ultimate value... There should never, therefore be pride. There should never be envy. There should never be jealousy. There should never be despising. We must discover what we are and what gift is given to us."

@johngacinski What is the premise that would indicate that water refers to water baptism in this verse?
English

@creatorclues Water is water baptism. Spirit is the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.
Jesus seems to be referencing Ezekiel 36:25-27, which may very well be why He chastised Nicodemus for not knowing this.
English

Interesting...
(posting for easy reference)
Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.
A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
Ezekiel 36:25-26

David's desire.
Solomon's responsibility.
But the LORD said to David my father, Forasmuch as it was in thine heart to build an house for my name, thou didst well in that it was in thine heart:
Notwithstanding thou shalt not build the house; but thy son which shall come forth out of thy loins, he shall build the house for my name.
2 Chronicles 6:8-9

Check out this detail about the life of Joshua:
his servant Joshua,
the son of Nun,
a young man,

Who led the Israelites after Moses died? (Joshua 1:1-2) a) Caleb b) Joshua c) Samuel d) Gideon
English

@RaisinsApples An interesting note about Joshua.
Thrice Joshua is referred to as the servant of Moises.
Twice Joshua is referred to as the servant of the Lord.

@JoshuaBarzon The SINGLE most IMPORTANT SIGN Jesus left for those who would not believe.
A sign SO PRECISE, that it leaves NO DOUBT as to WHO HE was.
Even so, many chose (and still choose) to not believe.
