@di_an@daniellloyd1 Wout knew he is (normally) faster in the sprint and he trusted on that. Pogi tried to drop Wout but wasn’t strong enough. A classic without climbs will be allways be his biggest challenge.

I could not be more pleased for Wout van Aert. It would have been criminal if he'd ended his career without a win in a cobbled monument.
To finally achieve it today, at the end of one of the most epic, dramatic and chaotic editions of Paris Roubaix seems fitting. And to do so in front of one of the top 2 riders of all time just adds to the prestige.
Well done Wout. And Belgium: enjoy your party. Surely a national holiday has to be called tomorrow?!

Gisteren naar de 'tryout' van @xanderycke zijn nieuwe show #BekendenBescheiden gaan kijken. En het was gewoon echt goed. 2u durende show die 20 minuten leken. Ondergewaardeerde, bij tijden geniale en zelfrelativerende stand-up met een epic gevoel voor timing. En o ja... eens geen
