@nickaturley @OpenAI The low latency required to address users expectations of a near real-time experience of the Advanced Mode makes its responses low quality. To work in my car, I fałlback to Standard Mode where the answers' are much more detailed and accurate. Like 4o vs o3.

Last month we announced that everyone now has access to Advanced Voice Mode, with usage limits expanded from minutes per day to hours for free users and near unlimited for Plus. We also announced that Standard Voice Mode would be retired after a 30-day sunset. We’ve heard feedback that Standard Voice is special to many, and we want to get this transition right. Standard Voice will stay available while we address some of your feedback in Advanced Voice. Stay tuned, more improvements to Advanced Voice Mode are coming soon!

I’m not big on identities, but I am extremely proud to be American. This is true every day, but especially today—I firmly believe this is the greatest country ever on Earth. The American miracle stands alone in world history. I believe in techno-capitalism. We should encourage people to make tons of money and then also find ways to widely distribute wealth and share the compounding magic of capitalism. One doesn’t work without the other; you cannot raise the floor and not also raise the ceiling for very long. The world should get richer every year through science and technology, but everyone has to be in the “up elevator”. I think the government usually does a worse job than markets, and so we need to encourage our culture of innovation and entrepreneurship. I also believe that education is critically important to keeping the American edge. I believed this when I was 20, when I was 30, and now I am 40 and still believe it. The Democratic party seemed reasonably aligned with it when I was 20, losing the plot when I was 30, and completely to have moved somewhere else at this point. So now I am politically homeless. But that’s fine; I care much, much more about being American than any political party. I’d rather hear from candidates about how they are going to make everyone have the stuff billionaires have instead of how they are going to eliminate billionaires. The American experiment has always been messy. I am hopeful for another great 250 years. Happy 4th!

I am very angry at @google. I have my account since 2004, 19 years now. I am fully dependent on their ecosystem. Calendar, Notes, Photos, Mail, doorbell, EVERYTHING. I got a notification that my account was disabled for an obscure reason. I am a regular user. HELP @madebygoogle

@Google Can you imagine the stress I am currently under? I don't have access to my appointments, work files, etc... And I need to wait for an hypothetic appeal? Don't you think you have a process to review here, @google? Your risk mitigation is outrageous.

Additionally, I am paying for Google One, YouTube Premium, Fitbit, Google Domain, etc. I have a dozen of Google home/Nest devices, a Pixel Pro 7, Pixel Watch, etc. That is how @google treat their loyal customers? @madebygoogle

@Google I don't "think", I am sure it was disabled by mistake. And, thanks for the advice, I did submit an "appeal" already. In the meantime, my whole digital life is frozen. I can't even manage my kids with FamilyLink. Any support would be much appreciated. Christophe

@ProfNoahGian So, we have now reached the stage where depreciating ChatGPT is the trend? Comparing ChatGPT and Google is simply a demonstration of not understanding that they are different tools.
