@amittalwalkar It was the most foolish decision MI ever took to make Hardik the captain. He is 100% not captain material. The soul of MI and its success is Rohit Sharma - after him the next best captain would have been Surya. Hardik is clearly not listening to anyone on the field...
Hardik was having a dream run at GT. He led a new franchise to a title in its debut year (2022) and a final in the next. He had a great opportunity to build his legacy with GT. But he decided to come back to MI, this time as a captain to lead one of the most successful franchises in IPL history. I am sure, the offer must be much bigger than just a captaincy role which prompted him to take a u-turn.
The transition from Rohit Sharma to Hardik was met with significant fan backlash, and that friction seemed to permeate the dressing room. Tactically, his bowling changes and batting order reshuffles have often been questioned, leading to MI finishing at the bottom of the table in 2024 and struggling significantly in the current 2026 season.
While coming back to MI, he probably forgot that he had tremendous support in the form of Ashish Nehra at GT and a lot of credit for their success should also go to Nehra. Plus, he had complete authority on the ground with most of the players looking up to him as a leader. In MI, the dynamics are totally different. There is nobody like Nehra to be constantly at the boundary line giving tips. And the dressing room is divided despite Ambanis trying their best to retain all key players with equal money. So there is not much support from the players. Moreover, he needs to understand that his authoritative style won't work with seniors in MI which was working in GT.
To add to misery, Hardik's own form has been dismal this season. He has scored 146 runs at SR of 136.44 and taken 4 wickets at 61.5 with an economy of 11.9.
With 3 seasons down in the drain, the only option left for Hardik is to move to some other franchise as his tactics are clearly not working in MI. Not sure how long owners will show the patience but if the contract is till 2027, they might just wait for one more season. But looking at the way things are going, it's going to be a struggle next year as well if Hardik and MI continue to stick to each other.
@venkat_fin9 Absolutely he is right..petrol and diesel won't be there forever. So it is high time that policymakers bring in cars which use alternative fuels like CNG, EVs, H2 Look at our neighbour Nepal - they put 180% duty on ICE vehicles import making petrol/diesel cars more expensive
If this statement is actually true, it’s shocking how disconnected it is from ground reality. Even a daily wage worker understands basic practicality better than some of these so-called “highly educated” illiterate brianless policymakers.
Over 95% of vehicles in India still run on petrol and diesel, and companies are actively selling more every day. Yet statements like this are thrown around without a clear transition plan.
This isn’t vision, it’s careless, unrealistic talk. What a shame.
All unemployed youth in Bengal will receive ₹3,000 in their bank accounts on the first of every month.
We will provide ₹21,000 to every pregnant mother for the care of her child.
The BJP government will implement 33% reservation in government jobs, and from 1 June, all women will get free bus travel.
The BJP government will increase the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi from ₹6,000 to ₹9,000.

@AmitShah Please listen to the complete speech - he said Modi is terrorising the democracy of the country by using organisations like ED and CBI. He never meant to call him a terrorist in the literal sense. Stop fooling people and letting your IT cell spam social media with this narrative
Every day, the Congress is hitting new lows in its demeanour, breaking its own record in lowering the standard of public discourse. Today, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge Ji breached every standard of public conduct and brought shame to the nation by calling the elected Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi Ji, a terrorist. This insult to the foremost leader of the nation is an insult to the millions of people who love and support Modi Ji.
Calling a leader like Modi Ji a terrorist, who has completely curbed terrorism in the last 12 years is highly condemnable. Every time the Congress hurls abuses at Modi Ji, it is the people of India who answer them. This time too, the people will respond.
@BJP4India Just like AIIMS Darbhanga (Bihar) launched by the central government funded initiative in 2020 and yet to see the light of its day. I hope my dear Bengali brothers and sisters realise the reality of these false promises and vote sensibly.
The BJP will build a separate AIIMS in North Bengal.
A 500-bed cancer hospital will be established.
IIT and IIM institutions will be set up in North Bengal.
We will establish a sports university for Gorkha youth.
We will develop Darjeeling into a major centre for eco, adventure, and heritage tourism.
The BJP will identify and remove every infiltrator, one by one.

@BJP4India Rather than giving the unemployed a job to earn Rs. 30,000 on the first of every month, you are giving him freebies and crippling the economy of the country. Reservation and freebies seems to be the modus operandi of every government these days.
@IndianTechGuide Oh just 5000? That's way too less. Please use the state treasury wisely and develop 50000 temples over the next 3-5 years. That's the need of the hour.
I usually support PM Modi, but today I honestly didn’t expect this. I thought there would be some strong action maybe something related to Iran or Operation Sindoor 2.0 but instead, it was all about Congress.
@talk2anuradha First of all, such a leader would never get elected. If he/she would get elected, there will be so much criticism and hatred thrown that he/she will not complete his tenure.
At least once in my lifetime, I would like to see a leader who truly cares about the country.
Not elections. Not opposition. Not vote banks.
We can’t be this unlucky… we deserve that, at least once.
If someone can help me understand, how is the women reservation bill going to uplift the condition of women in the country? Are you trying to imply that men don't care about women empowerment? Certainly seems so... @narendramodi@BJP4India@RahulGandhi@INCIndia
@RamKaBharat@RajeshwariRW Ridiculous - since the time this Modi government has come into power, whenever you say something, people go back into history and say you had no trouble when that happened - now what's your problem. By that logic, India should not have a problem even with colonial rule again!!
@RajeshwariRW You must have been in comma when Tejasvi became D.CM. & Tej Prakash became Health minister; otherwise you would have tweeted about them too. And you never yeard of Rabri being CM of Bihar.
Bro became Chief Minister.
• His assistant is an IAS officer.
• His advisor is a CA
• His peon is a graduate.
But the Chief Minister himself is illiterate.
Long live democracy
@BesuraTaansane@narendramodi Wah Modiji Wah.. you very well knew that the opposition will oppose this bill and now you have got a narrative in your campaigns to tell a story that the opposition is against women empowerment.
PM @narendramodi ji to opposition: “If you oppose the bill, I will gain politically. However if you all support the bill, it will be everyone’s win. I don’t want any credit, I am willing to put an ad in all papers thanking each and every party for their support along with photos of whosoever you want inserted. Treat it like a blank cheque of credit 🔥
Opposition is checkmated 💀
@RitikSriva75 Making HP MI captain was the biggest blunder. This team has got many successful captains of international team squads - RS SKY Santner yet the MI mgmt seems rigid to go with him.
🚨 Breaking News: BCCI and MI management may take major action against Hardik Pandya. 🚨
During yesterday’s MI vs PBKS match, a heated argument was seen on the field between Hardik Pandya and Jasprit Bumrah. When Hardik Pandya was setting the field, he seemed fully committed to his own strategy and did not give much importance to Jasprit Bumrah’s input.
Bumrah initially tried to put forward his point, but Hardik Pandya seemed to forget that Bumrah is a senior player. Meanwhile, PBKS batsmen kept scoring runs continuously and no wickets were falling.
In this situation, Hardik’s frustration was clearly seen being directed at Bumrah. On the ground, it was evident that Hardik was showing anger towards him.
Now, the Mumbai Indians team appears to be completely falling apart, and Hardik Pandya is being blamed for it. His anger and attitude are said to have spoiled the team environment.
Today, we all saw the true face of Congress, TMC, DMK and Samajwadi Party. By blocking the Constitutional Amendment that would reserve one-third of seats in Lok Sabha and State Assemblies, they have denied women their legitimate rights.
The nation is watching, and so are its women. The insult meted out today to Nari Shakti will never be forgiven.
