I would like to share a success story of a man who hails from west godavari. I know this person through mutual connections but he does not know me because I never met him.
This person hails from an agrarian family in west godavari. His father is a renowned businessman in his village, he inherited 25 acres of land which has water facilities from his father, he studied BA in CR Reddy College, Eluru. In his early 20’s, He married a woman from a nearby village whose father is a movie-director.
This person has a small pawning business in Eluru by the time he married. His father in law had good network in movie field, so he started as a distributor alongside running his other businesses, slowly owned a theater in Eluru, his businesses grew faster than anybody would have imagined.
Nearly 10 years later, he started various businesses but the movie business which gave him a lot of profits started doing bad. He had to withstand 27 movie flops as a distributor continuously. He then got a hit so big, that his 27 flops loss vanished in a single night. He started Fish Tanks, slowly he bought 300 acres of land in a village, and started mass-scale fish farming.
He then used the profits in setting up a chit fund business, the chit fund business grew massively which made him invest all the profits in real estate.
In Eluru, There is a place called RR Pet, this is in the heart of the town. This person earned so much money such that, In every two building on the main road in RR Pet, he owns one. Alongside investing in real estate, he invested small amounts of money in stocks, which are highly valued now. He started import-export business and schools from the profits he made.
This man is aged about 75 now, his life style stuns me. He eats just 2 idly in the night, same old car, same old desk, same old office in Eluru. He has 2 children, and they are married to very rich people.
This person never flew out of India, rarely comes of out Eluru, created a networth of more than Rs. 1000 crores in a life time.
( Just for Context, In early 2020s, Income Tax Department raided his places and Found more than Rs. 15 Crore just in cash.)
Moral of his life: Simple Principles, Simple things often lead to Big Money.
